Melee port?

I think it would be so cool to have a port of melee on the switch, along with online functionality. Possibly even an hd remake. It's not too far fetched considering the GameCube controller they released and how they are starting to port past games. It wouldn't even have to be a main series game. Just like some kind of nostalgic side game for the die hard melee players (such as myself).

I dont now if that would be considered for tournament play, simply because of the input lag on switch vs the input lag on CRT screens

It would be impossible to overcome the lag. You can only get the true melee experience on a CRT. Thats the real problem.
