My problem is, nobody else plays Ness, so I can't learn from them. The only thing I can do is keep getting beat by something until I figure out how not to.

Ademisk you need to take ness to the peak of tech skill to be even kinda good with him. Which means practicing alone a lot. THEN practice with people a lot since you dont have to worry about tech errors.

And even then, you won't be anything but terrible.
