I just called the venue they said it's confirmed for the 22nd February. I (or we ) just need to go down there and fill out paperwork/pay the cost. I booked a meeting for next Monday 26th at midday. Who wants to accompany me?

In all seriousness, now that the venue is confirmed I'm just gathering info to post on the first page. What's for sure is that it will be at the Abbotsford Convent in the Rosina Auditorium on the 22nd of February. Update will be in the next couple of days.

looks a little more of a bother to get to than the old place, but the venue itself looks to be one hell of a step up =D

It's definently not as clear cut to get to as Carlton or Deakin - it's situated on a Yarra River bend and the closest train station is a 10-15 minute walk away. But when you factor in the benefits (a cafe were you pay anything you want, hidden bars, a Resident Evil style mansion, Dodgeball fields and the beastliest bakery ever), it looks like a winner in many many ways.

Plus it's also very close to where I live

Abbotsford convent? Went on a school excursion there 2 years ago, nostalgia + smash = Win.
