Even if Megaman is in this game, you think Capcom and Nintendo will screw up and instead of giving us classic Megaman, they'll give us "Futuristic Emo Megaman who likes commiting futuristic animal cruelity", "Bishie Hottie Megaman (Note: I'm not a girl and I am not gay.) who lives in a universe where it's okay to have incest with your sister", "Tron Megaman", or even "Muscular manchild who hangs with a robotic Scooby-Doo Megaman". I don't hate these versions of Megaman, but it better be "Classic Megaman who enjoys fighting people with "man" in their name and riding on his dog" or I will be ticked

Why wouldn't you want to see Megaman in Brawl?
I noticed your location is the "Sora Support Thread". I don't even know who Sora is but I assume it's a character you'd like to see in Brawl. I care absolutely nothing zero zilch about this "Sora" character I know nothing about, but I wouldn't mind seeing him/her in Brawl because how can you deny any sort of addition? That's just stupid.

It's a toss up between 3 Rock Man forms for who to put in Brawl.
Rock Man (Rock Man)
Vent or Aile (Rock Man ZX)
Subaru Hoshikawa and War-Rock (Ryuusei no Rock Man)
Rock is the classic and most favored choice, he's the capcom mascot and the one we all know as "Megaman". There isn't much that needs to be said about him, he's the face of Capcom.
Vent and Aile are the most recent recreation of X and Zero style fighting with gun and sword, ZX plays like the older (Classic/X/Zero) games. Both can take the same character slot and be done by costumes in a Popo and Nana style switch (half the outfits have a girl's voice or the like). Using just the Biometal ZX moves they make for the largest movepool (if you only look at constant moves and don't include chips or stolen moves).
Subaru Hoshikawa is better known as Geo Stellar in "Megaman Star Force", he's the absolute latest Rockman in the series. If you include all moves done in the series there are 150 standard chips in the first games, most viable for moves. There are a few unique ways they could do the symbiot/host relationship between the two, but he lacks the... feel of the Classic/Z/X/ZX series, since Star Force is a sequel to the EXE series.

On topic, be happy if he's in at all. Honestly, if they put any Megaman in, it would be the original. The original Megaman is still one of the most recognized Megamen out there.
Show someone that new megaman star force guy and the old one, odds are they are gonna recognize the old one before Star Force.

2. "Bishie Hottie Megaman." Megaman Trigger (AKA the Megaman Legends Megaman)
3. "Tron Megaman." Megaman EXE (Battle Network)
4. "Muscular manchild..." Megaman from the earlier 90's cartoon series (why would you bring up this one?)
Still, the classic Megaman would easily be the form they would use if he makes it into the game.
