DrømmeLAN (Dream-LAN) is an annual LAN that takes place right outside of Oslo, Norway. In cooperation with Smash Norge we have held several smash tournaments over the last years. The Smash community in Norway is rapidly expanding, so we expect a flourishing national turnout.
Pot bonus: 5000 NOK (538€) if we reach 90 attendants or more.

- LOCATION -
The venue is at a Secondary School in Sandvika, which lies 15 minutes from Oslo and 40 from Oslo Airport by train. Nearby you can find a huge mall, restaurants, coffee-bar and all you need within 10 minutes by foot.
You fly either to Oslo Airport OSL (closest) or Oslo Rygge RYG. From there you find trains at NSB.

Sleeping is fully allowed in the venue, just bring something to sleep on. There are security guards around to ensure safety.

You can either buy a ticket at http://drommelan.com/seating/ (Only in norwegian, but we have added the google translate app the website), or at the door when you arrive.

Sets are best of 3 for singles pools, and best of 5 for bracket.
Doubles is best of 3 until the designated round.
The match will be decided by stocks remaining if time runs out. If the same, remaining percent left.
If stocks and percent is the same, the match will be replayed, and no sudden death will count.

Tactics used for staling the time is forbidden. Wobbling is allowed up to 300%.
How to start a set: Stage striking. You strike stages till only one remains, on which you play.
1. First player strikes one stage.
2. Second player strikes two stages.
3. First player strikes one stage.
After each match:
1. Winner announces stage ban (except in best-of-5 sets)
2. Loser chooses counterpick stage
3. Winner chooses their character
4. Loser chooses their character
You cannot pick the stage you last won on, unless both agrees.
«Friendly fire» is on.
Stock share is allowed.

General Rules
- Game Settings: 4 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit, Best of 3 Games. Finals are Best of 5.
- Items are disabled.
- Input buffer is disabled
- All chain grabs and infinites are legal
- Pause option is disabled in the game menu. If left on, accidental pausing mid match forfeits a stock.
- You may not choose the last stage you have won on during a set, unless agreed by both players.
- If time runs outs, the tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage. If percentage is tied, a 1 stock, 3 minute match is played.
- Playing as Giga Bowser or Wario Man is banned

Match Procedure- Players select their characters. Either player may choose to Blind Pick. In this case, each player secretly tells a third player their character before picking with the third player verifying their selections.
- Players play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Winner chooses between selecting controller port or first Stage Strike
- Players take turns removing stages from the Starter Stages list above based upon the results of the previous rule. The first player to strike removes one(1) stage from the list, the second player removes two(2), the first player then selects from the remaining two stages to play on.
- The players play the first match of the set
- Winning player of the preceding match bans two stages from the full list of stages, both Starter and Counter-Pick.
- The Losing player of the preceding match picks a stage for the next match. Cannot choose the stage banned in the previous step, nor the last stage they've already won on during this set, unless agreed.
- The winning player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
- The losing player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
- The losing player of the preceding match may change their controller port.
- The next match is played
- Repeat Steps 5 through 10 for all subsequent matches until the set is complete.
