E-Sports Initiative (formerly OSI) is a nonprofit student organization that partners with companies in the digital media and e-sports industries. We equip entry-level talent with the skills, insight, and experiences that will help them launch their careers in the rapidly-maturing interactive media and video game development space, while connecting companies in the industry to this talent pool. As of fall 2013, E-Sports Initiative is focused on addressing the specific subset of STEM education that relates to the video game industry- computer science and engineering, data analytics, mathematics, and technical design and graphics. We aim to provide certification programs, unique insight into the industry, and networking and leadership development opportunities to future employees in the industry on a national scale through our network.

After the massive success of Shuffle V and Shuffle VI , we hope to make Shuffle VII even better!

Hype. Will try to make it out for Sm4sh. Hopefully I can find housing.

If anyone wants a doubles partner and wants to try for top 5 hit me up.

Won't be able to make it due to family plans.

Any chance stages in pm aren't set? Right now you have 4-5 long flat ish stages consisting of sv, fd, lylat, yoshis and ps2, but only two small ish stages of ghz and yoshis. I think removing lylat and adding warioware would be good for balancing it out

Currently debating the stagelist for PM, if you have any input head on over to Columbus PM and Brawl and post your opinion!

Great choice doing Project M again ! You have my support with that one guys !

For the stagelist, Warioware, Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams and GHZ have close blastzones. In my opinon one should be replaced by another stage, like norfair for instance because we don't see it enough in Project M even though it's a very good stage, in my opinion.

FoD actually has pretty large blast zones.

Is the schedule set in stone? I'd like to enter Project M doubles but wouldn't be able to make it in time unless it started around noon due to religious obligations

Any particular reason why stock for Sm4sh is 2 and not 3? Is it because of time constraints or are people just doing 2-stock nowadays?

Any word on Mewtwo? I'm assuming he's allowed since he'll be out by then, so will setups then be required to have Mewtwo?

We will be using our own Streaming Platform that we have been working on since we had many problems during Shuffle VI. We may be using a different platform for Project M but it WILL be streamed.

Can you go into more detail about the streaming situation? With the recent announcement of mlg coordinating with you, does that mean they will stream it again? What does your platform look like? Has it been tested? What kind of limits does it have?
Also, will the stream also be recorded and uploaded somewhere?

Streaming Platform:
Mixer: Mackie PROFX8 8-Channel Mixer
Headsets: Audio-Technica BPHS1
Recording: Elgato HD60 + Blackmagic USB 3.0

Smash 4 and Melee will be streamed on MLG.TV
Project M will be streamed on Twitch.tv through Wind City Smash.

Testing will be done up until the event, we are putting more work into this than you do in your Kirby game Rizner <3
