Smash Journeyman
Brotherly Love is back and better than ever. Each event will feature a special guest along with side events. Our goal is to bring in a top player from around the world at each event.
This event will debut a new bracket format called "Waterfall" (abbreviated as WTF). This format was conceptualized by players of the SSB64 Community and applied at the Lab's SSB64 Regional event, Keystoned. Instead of the normal double elimination bracket, players will compete in a multi-stage round robin event. Players first face off in a placement round. They are then seeded into different divisions depending on how well they did. This creates more matches between players of similar skill rather than a top seed vs bottom seed the entire bracket. It also creates a built-in amateur bracket.

Additionally, each Brotherly Love event will also feature a Smash.gg reward shop providing BC and BL merchandise from shirts to controllers. The proceeds will be split between the cost of the item and special rewards. Here are some examples of what type of rewards we'll have:

Pre-Registration Venue: $15 (First 20 entrants)

Singles: $10
Doubles: $20 ($10 per player, $20 per team)
