Hello and welcome to the biggest online tourney ever held for Super Smash Bros. 64. The..
MATTS! Ultra Smash 64 Tourney.
This tournament is for all ages, and everyone and anybody is welcome to signup. This competition provides participants a showcase for their talents, and skill and there love for smash 64. Also showing other viewers that the Smash 64 community is still alive, and getting bigger, and bigger.
RULES:
Number of participants: up to 64 (depending on how many people sign up, brackets might change)
Date: It will be held NOW!!! TOURNEY IS IN PROGRESS!!!!!(Depending on how quickly we get the brackets filled)
Rules:
-There will be-
-Double elimination.-
-Ditto's-*NEW*
[Dittos will be an entire bracket of the same character use throughout the whole bracket by each person that signs up for that character for Dittos]
-Ditto's-*NEW*
[Dittos will be an entire bracket of the same character use throughout the whole bracket by each person that signs up for that character for Dittos]
-5 stock matches.
-Best 3 out 5.
-First match on Hyrule. After that Loser picks stage.
-All Characters Are Legal.
-All items off
-No excessive camping or stalling.
-If you DS 3 times, you forfeit the match
-Stages available: hyrule, dreamland, congo, saffron, and peach's castle
Teams Doubles:
There will be team doubles also. Brackets for doubles will depend on how many sign up for doubles. Same rules apply except:
-3 stock each person(6 stock a team)
-Stages available: All Stages.

The matches can be played on whatever emulator you want. You can use PJ64k or Mupen, on any server, or you can P2P. (Just make sure your opponent agrees with which emulator, or p2p, etc.)
*(If the 2 player's do not agree to play on the same emulator, or p2p due to a problem with connection, or not having the emulator, They must play on whats available that they both have thats stable. Whoever still disagrees with what to play on, will forfeit their match and be knocked out to the losing brackets, or kicked out of the tourny all together.)

Scheduled time of matches:
Matches can be played anytime the 2 opponents can schedule it between March 1-7. (They just have to post results on smashboards.)(Also if we get the brackets done and filled and out before March 1st, it may start earlier)
Make sure you pick a good time where you can play a set of 5 matches without interruption.(First to win 3 out of 5)
Contacting:
Make sure you find out who your fighting next, and contact them anyway you can. Please leave your instant messenger screen name for whatever you have(AIM, MSN, YAHOO, etc.) or e-mail, or try to get ahold of them on here(smashboards) or in the server, or anywhere else you can. If you show up and your opponent does not show, he is giving 15 to 30 mins depending on how long YOU can wait, and then he or she forfeits the match for a no show. If you can't get ahold of somebody, and they never surface, they automatically forfeit the match.
Tournament Championship Match will be best of 7. Same Rules Apply Throughout.
Brackets:
The brackets will be selected at random for all participants. Some might have a "bye" and some might not.(Depends on how many sign-up)
Best-Of-The-Best Series Awards:
Player's will get awarded at the end of the tourney for, Best-Of-The-Best Series Awards:
Best Kill
Best Combo
Best Comeback
Best Edge-Guarding
Best Solid Gameplay
In a Video uploaded to youtube. If you can record your matches for youtube, please do so as this can help us gather more analysis for the best of the best series awards. Voted by the players and other smash 64 community members. If anybody can stream matches for viewers and others to record, please do so as this will help tremendously.
END NOTES:
We want everybody to have fun. This is played online, so there will be a delay. The delay can vary, depending on who you play and where they live/connection, and if you play them on a server or p2p. If you sign up please state what you wanna sign up for. Example:
