Mario Strikers: Battle League free post launch updates & First Kick Demo

Nintendo announced today that Mario Strikers: Battle League will get free post-launch updates, including new characters. Nintendo announced that more details will come at a later date. Nintendo also announced a First Kick demo that will be available from June 3rd to 5th. All six of these sessions will be available for one hour. We've listed the times of each session in order
  1. 8 PM PST / 11 PM EST on June 3rd, 2022. 5 AM CET on June 4th, 2022
  2. 4 AM PST / 7 AM EST / 1 PM CET on June 4th, 2022
  3. 12 PM PST / 3 PM EST / 9 PM CET on June 4th, 2022
  4. 8 PM / 11 PM EST on June 4th, 2022. 5 AM CET on June 5th, 2022
  5. 4 AM PST / 7 AM EST / 1 PM CET on June 5th, 2022
  6. 12 PM PST / 3PM EST / 9 PM CET on June 5th, 2022
More information about the Mario Strikers: Battle League first kick demo is available on Nintendo's website. Nintendo also announced a free seven-day trial of Nintendo Switch Online.

Mario Strikers Battle League will arrive on Nintendo Switch on June 10th, 2022. The First Kick demo is now available to download.

I tried the First Kick demo's Training mode yesterday. Unfortunately, you don't get much of a chance to practice the more advanced techniques against the CPU, and it's 3-on-3 instead of the typical 4-on-4. Teaching is one thing, but actually executing the moves in an actual match is a completely different matter.

And just as a side note, you can't even control Boom Boom, which is a big step backwards when compared to what you could do with the Kritter goalkeepers.
