Mario Universe Mario Kart Local Tournament

I'm in the Charlotte area and I hardly see any Mario Kart tournaments there. Just Smash Bros and fighting games.
I want to know if you guys are interested in a Charlotte money tournament for MK (especially the classics)...if anyone's interested.
It's extremely rare to find a Mario Kart tournament in Charlotte and I mostly see it out of seas (France, Germany, UK, etc.)
