Agreed 100%. Hadesblade is ridiculous.


And IDK. Never met Cod, and Never PLAYED Polt, but from what I've seen, while Polt is amazing, I think Hadesblade is better.
That being said, that could also be because I've actually played Hadesblade and only seen Polt play.

Quick question any Mario can answer. Refering to a post Coolwhip made in another thread, what is exactly is to "Wavebounce" a fireball? Is that when your running then you SH ---> B-reversed fireball because that's what I thought it was but I never really looked into what it was.

It is. Basically what B reversing does is reverse your momentum. Let's say you're moving to the left to get back on stage. Instead of stopping all of your momentum to change directons, you can click the control stick the other way and press B. If done correctly your momentum will complete shift to the right and you will shoot a fireball. It's good for escaping juggles.

I just watched some of that video. Why didn't I ever think of Ledge hop ---> Wavebounce fireball ---> wall jump xP? That's actually pretty creative and wow did that video help me. My Mario wasn't much for edge options haha.

More or less. Sometimes people don't have others around them to practice offline. Personally I have 4 people in my town alone to play excluding my brothers. There are also a good amount of players that are not easily within driving distance and I can drive. Wifi is just convenient because you can just go on AIB and find someone.

Wifi can be legit. If you play on wifi with a pretty good connection and don't abuse wifi shenanigans you'll get better. I played on wifi for a bit and got better. Might train a character on AIB ladder.

Late, but there's a good Yoshi in my area named Firefly.

He might have gotten 1st at the recent TP in Oregon, but apparently he missed the b button when he needed to down b.

He's pretty ****.

lol we might not play eachother... lol maybe... we probably will =/. Also lol idc if people think other good yoshi's are better than me because honestly comparing players that don't go to the same tournies/play the same people will rarely be accurate ;)
