use jab combo alot, it's good to get snake out of your face and good punishing spot dodgeing. Just don't get ftilted alot. Snake is pretty gay though, ***** mario hard.
Use Utilt. Snake has so few options when he's aerial, but very low to the ground. Just Utilt, follow his DI, then do mean stuffs to him.
Don't try to force kills either. Snake can punish you so easily if you get hasty with anything. Just wait until you have the sure-thing, even if you're behind.

I don't like playing against Snake, but I like baiting his obvious Ftilts and avoiding it with a charged Fsmash. I get kills at like 90% doing that.
And I'm sorry 2fast, but Mario does NOT have the tools for every matchup. He is just fine against most characters, but Mario doesn't have the ability to deal with Metaknight in my experience. There is just nothing he can do as soon as the Metaknight figures out how to win. Sorry. Every other matchup is fairly manageable, but in all honesty your going to be fighting an uphill battle a majority of the time. With all the MKs, Falcos, and Snakes, and DDDs out there. Sure, your work learning the character can come in handy when you play against certain high tiers. (For me those are Diddy, ICs to an extent, and Olimar), but without a solid way to beat Metaknight, and in my case Falco, you really can't do much.
By all means, try, I've managed to do decent going all Mario against Metaknight. But the simple fact is that he can take one of your stocks pretty much whenever if you mess up a single time. Also, G&W is pretty damn easy. :/

Xero, who's your main in BB?
Xero, I think I have to fight some tougher Metaknights then. The best one I've fought is probably Omni and that was back at the my first tournament and everyone was surprised at how even me and him were for my first tourney. To bad I SD and stopped my chance for victory just like for GIMR, Supa Nov@, and so many other people I've fought in tourney matches. The pressure just gets to you.

I won Mario dittos first match and the guy CP'd FD and ddd luckily for me he didn't know how to CG lol so he wasn't legit. Then I beat some guy named Jarvitz(ZSS/Lucas main but he went ZSS for our set) and they were pretty decent matches imo though I won pretty solidly.

Jimmy was a fairly solid Mario. I was the Ike that beat him but he took me to last stock and 120% plus both matches but I have a habit of not dieing easy
Personally, I think that Jimmy needs to utilize the awesomeness of Mario's back air a little more, and take advantage of his up tilt to up tilt at low percentages. You relied I'd say a little too much on your smashes I'd say, but don't think you didn't have me worried! If you live in the Pittsburgh area, I'm part of a brawl group that currently consists of Mozz (Ike) JMO (Fricken majority of the cast, really good with zelda, but when tourney time comes Metaknight) Sleek Media (Mario) Borommakot77 (Snake) and Jeff (Marth/Pikachu). I've gone decent against certain Metaknights too, but go play Lee Martin. Just go ahead, tell me how you do. (Even though I know how it will work out). I almost cried after that. It was seriously one of the stupidest games of Brawl I have ever played. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah I hate Metaknight.
Also, I don't really have a main in BlazBlue. I haven't decided on one, I've decided not to until I get my arcade stick for Christmas.
Pounds coming up and all the top Metaknights are going to be there. I guess if it's anytime for me to find out how gay Metaknight is (and I already think he's gay, his MU even if I feel I've learned it, is still tough) that is the time for me to learn.

QFT.Switch "gay to fight" into "a fun challenge" and it might positively affect how you view the matchup
Seriously though, it's a great matchup to make you so much better as a player overall, no matter the char, because his ftilt punishes so easily and so effectively. Learn the matchup to become 5 times more effective than your opponent. The gayer the snake, the better.
This MU is a lot of fun to me. Also, JUST camping won't work, but you can mix it in and make it work. That and FLUDDing grenades back at him. Won't work if you do just that, but it can be useful at times.
Yeah, I use Mario for Oli and sometimes Diddy (Depends who seems to do better against the opponent, since Kirby Wolf and Mario are all decent/good vs him.). I can do it with Falco too, but that's only for MMs and friendlies, since I do that MU 100 times better with Kirby.
Also lol, we have no good G&Ws in our region, so yeah, G&W is easy
Yeah, just got a 360 myself. Neighbor sold it for really cheap (A working elite with 2 controllers and 2 ****ty games for 150.) since he needed cash fast. Playing Fallout: New Vegas now, then starting Dead Space and all those other games I missed.
