Mix ups are really more of personal things to be thought of and I don't think there needs to be a thread for it. It's just things that come up. For example, my main tools with Mario are fireballs and bair. While that probably what I do most, I can mix it up by implementing some ground game with jabs and ftilt. I can also just throw a fair. Could go super aggro and uair chain. Could pretend to be Wario and dair the top of his shield There is a long list of mixups that can't be written down.

-Our metagame is getting old and ineffective, so, start thinking about new ideas. I´ve been training the wonderful art of pivots, all kind of them, mainly fireballz, which are one of my best tools of combat, although, i encourage everyone to be "creative", that single thing will open a new path as a low tier, and remember to keep walking, even if others are getting over us, we can still fight for the place that we deserve...-

I've been looking into the expansive world of fireballs as well. B-reversals, momentum flips, and other such things. Their's actually a lot of stuff to do which I haven't seen other Mario's do. As well as that platform glide thing when you b-reverse a cape off a platform and cape glide across the platform instead.

December 17th will have a tournament at Play n Trade Bluebonnet in Baton Rouge, LA. This is more of a local tournament but if you had plans on arriving in the bayou on Friday come to it anyway, roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from Lafayette.

Then on Saturday come be a part of the event where titans clash, The Awesome Smash of Louisiana, also known as TASOL!!! Boasting a large venue with a Pot Bonus and...

ALL DAY PIZZA BUFFET INCLUDED IN THE VENUE FEE!!!

The most important thing to do at your first offline tournament is to get rid of that first tournament feeling by playing as many friendlies as you can (aka have fun).

Black Ops seriously got it down with the maps this time. Radiation <3

maps are okay, some of em are dumb as bloody ****, like summit and array and crisis (basically your everyday who ever controls and hides the building thing) it's k i guess.

This. I mean you wanna try and get the best placing you can but chilling with people is the reason I keep going to tourneys. At my last tourney (polybrawl) I played terribly, but I had fun seeing my friends and playing allbrawl with some guys (even though im really bad at it). If it was all about the game, i would just go into hyperbolic time chamber mode until i think i can place well.
