So as it turns out, this board needs cleaning and nobody told me. In the future, contact me, guys.

See now there's the thing, you guys seldom report things so I think it's all good. Then I do a scan of threads and there's nothing wrong.

These boards could be a lot better organized and better maintained. It would be nice to have an active mod that participated with us more. The only time you ever post here is when we complain about you. >_>

Why do we need to report when you should already be here doing your job? Your job is to moderate, and only moderate, the Mario board. You're designated to OUR board, not any where else. It's not that hard to moderate just ONE board.

Lazy mod is an inactive mod.

I was at one point in charge of the Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Mario, and Online Discussion boards. The first two were troublesome and I had to go through dozens of posts. Online required some sorting through and I was under the impression that you guys could handle yourselves. I always have and always will scan threads daily for things to delete or update, but never have to do anything. In fact, I'm a little too lenient because you guys get away with too much and I just let it happen.

I understand the hostility with the "oh he's inactive let's take shots at people with other responsibilities" thing but come on, it's old. I'll keep up with you guys more and if Tony still whines, then I'll know he's just being himself.

I still love this community and I'm still willing to stick with you even if you're going to hate.

Straked man, even if you do scan the boards daily, you obviously aren't interested in the Mario boards as a community or in advancing Mario's metagame, as evidenced by the fact that you never take part in discussions here.

My main problem with these boards is that they're structured inefficiently. They aren't a good reference for Mario's current metagame. Threads listed in the archives thread are mostly out of date. There are a lot of up-to-date useful threads that just get buried under a sea of other posts and lost forever. Nothing ever gets stickied anymore. This not only makes it tough for existing Mario mains to find info, but (I imagine) it discourages others from making new guide/resource threads. This creates a nightmare for anyone new to Mario who walks in here looking for useful, up-to-date, information. Mario's metagame has stagnated enough, and this isn't helping things.

Understand, I'm not hating, I'm just stating the facts as I see them. If you were invested in competitive Brawl and in the Mario community, this wouldn't be an issue. However, it seems to me that you're more interested in the SWF community in general, less in the Mario boards, and least in tournament play. Which is kinda the opposite of an ideal mod for a character board. It takes more than just making sure we aren't trolling/spamming. IMHO.

I understand completely and now that this was addressed, I can make the steps to improve. I appreciate it, man.

I'll set some time aside during winter break to do a huge revamp.

Alright, I thought it could be exploitable by attacking Lucario in that freefall state, but I suppose they could just DI away from anything chargable Mario has to offer.
