And therein lies the problem...it would be difficult to make two physically similar water-type Pokemon completely different, would it not? I'm still pushing for Lucario to be the next Pokemon rep...

They might have have some similarties, but its not enough to have a good chance of being a clone. Marill lacks a shell, for instance.

Marill would be cool. Or another second gen suggestion: TYRANITAR!!

It might, but both Pokemon have different body types and characteristics. Squirtle I see more as an agile, quick little fight. I'd see Marill with a lot more lag, not as quick, but bulkier. Marill is also a lot more physical than Squirtle. Marill learns a lot more physical water moves and types of attacks than most Water types.

Tyranitar is neat and massively powerful, although I'd see him more as an amazing Pokemon villain than anything.

Well because that repping excuse that every other Tom, **** and Harry seems to use is Bull ****, I won't comment on that aspect.

Marill isn't hairy. ^_^ And we do. Either in a Pokeball or playable.

Agreed. I really don't see why you'd delete it, it may not have been that snazzy back in Melee, but they really didn't give it much time to shine, giving it the basic Tackle. If Azumarill is switched, I'd love to see Aqua Tail.
