Welcome to the first entry of Lexington's new monthly tournament series for Smash 4 - Smash Brigade!

There will be NO VENUE FEE! Just entry for doubles and singles at the standard $5 a piece!
SCHEDULE:
10:00 AM: Doors open, registration for Doubles begins
10:30 AM: Singles registration begins
11:00 AM: Registration for Doubles ends, bracket begins shortly after
1:00 PM: Singles registration ends
2:00 PM: Singles pools begins
5:00 PM: Singles bracket begins

RULES:
>2 Stock, 6 minute timer for Singles
>3 Stock, 8 minute timer for Doubles
>Team Attack set to ON
>Pause is set to OFF
>Items set to OFF and NONE
>Custom Fighters set to OFF
>Mii Fighters are allowed as Guest Miis with 1111 Specials
>Neutral Stages: Battlefield*, Final Destination*, Smashville, Town and City, Lylat Cruise
>*During counterpicking, Dream Land 64 or Miiverse may be selected in place of Battlefield. Specific Omega stages may be selected in place of Final Destination. The only legal Omega stages are: Wily Castle, Suzaku Castle, Midgar, and Smashville
>All sets are Best of 3 Games, except for Top 8, where all sets are Best of 5
>First game stage is selected by stage striking, in 1-2-1 format. First strike may be determined by Rock, Paper, Scissors. Characters are selected and locked in before stage striking begins.
>During counterpicking, each player may ban ONE stage. The stage for the next game is selected, then the winner of the previous game may change characters, then the loser may change.
>Modified Dave’s Stupid Rule is in effect: Players may not select the last stage they won on during the set.
>Gentleman’s Rule is NOT in effect: players may not play on non-legal stages.
>If a match goes to time and both players are tied in stock and percent, a 1-stock, 3 minute match is played on the same stage, with the same characters.
>Coaching is limited to one 30-second session per set
Matches will be both streamed and put through a projector, and all of top 8 will be both streamed and projected for audience viewing!
