I'm compiling a chart of overall matchups between characters, for my own version of a tier list (it may be a waste of time, but I prefer not to debate that at the moment), and I cannot find a decent matchup discussion for Luigi vs. Pokemon Trainer on these boards. If there's one I'm missing, links would be great, otherwise, any thoughts? I'm looking mostly for a fairly accurate matchup ratio, not tactics, since I don't play Luigi, but any discussion to reach that ratio is all well and good. Thanks for any help.

Luigi loses to squirtle by a margin and slightly loses to charizard.
He does beat ivysaur rather soundly I think though.

ya its kinda hard 4 weegee 2 beat someone who out jabs him AND is better mobility. (talking squirtle
I'm feeling like this is...not so accurate. Anyone got a better estimate? Or confirmation of this, for that matter.
So...
Squirtle - 40:60
Charizard - 45:55
Ivysaur - 65:35
Seem about right?
And then overall?

biglou would know the best since he plays reflex and reflex is like the only pkt player.

Shoryuken probably kills Ivysaur at like 30%
I agree, I was asking for his confirmation on the numbers, and a ratio for the overall.

More of less, squirtle is the huge problem due to him being able to abuse luigi's poor air mobility.
Those numbers seem pretty right, although I do think ivysaur is closer to 60 40 then 65 35 since he can catch luigi with a surprise upair often.
Probably overall 45:55 in pt's favor. Squirtle is the main one to look out for.

Maybe with no DI but he does not kill ivy that low. It's defintily closer to the 40s.... I don't think jab up b even kills jiggs that low.

Overall, 50/50. I just added and divide. We can get a good stock lead if we **** the bricks off of Ivysaur and maintain to be in lead when the PT player switches pokemon.

I agree with biglou for the most part. After playing reflex's pt a few times, I believe that the mu ratios look like this:
60:40 ivysaur
55:45 charizard
45:55 squirtle
60:40 ivysaur
55:45 charizard
45:55 squirtle
don't know if u know Lapogne, but i haven't any problems against him :/
squirtle must approach you, because he hasn't projectils.
+squirtle can be killed with low % and his recovery isn't that good either, same thing for ivysaur.
Charizard is too slow and you can combo him not that difficult.
Just sayin with my current experience^^
