Luigi mini-wavedash?

Not sure if this has already been seen, but I'm posting anyway. I can also make a short video showing what I mean if needed.

I was fooling around and I managed to slide slightly backwards after I crouched at one point. I then tried to duplicate the action and was able to.

While walking forward and then moving the control stick in a low half-circle motion (but ending 135 degrees from the horizontal starting point) I was able to do a mini-wavedash backwards.

Any possible uses for this?

yeah it's called crawl dashing or some ****. i do it to taunt people lol

Crawl dashing? But why would it be called that when you don't dash at all? (if we're talking about the same thing) :/

You also don't dash when you WD, but we call it that anyway.
