Love Jump OoS

We all know Zelda can do Love Jump after being hit by just pressing Jump+Nspecial at the right time, but you don't need to get damage to make it happen!


HOW TO DO


When Zelda gets her shield hit by and attack that actually has knockback like snake's Utilt and seconf Ftilt; just press Jump+Nspecial on shield stun and Zelda will fly away keeping her second jump.


WHEN NOT TO TRY TO DO IT BECUASE NOTHING WILL HAPPEN


This won't work if you get hit by some attack that doesn't have knockback, like Falco's Lasers, any characters 1st and 2nd jabs, etc.

It also won't be possible to get it done if the attack is PSed.

SOME POSIBLE USES IT HAS IMO


- This in my opinion can help us get away on a cornering situation.
- When snake is recovering(usually very high) we can walk to a Dsmash>shield it>Love Jump OoS>get the kill with Uair or something.
- On teams your partner can hit your shield with a smash attack and do something similar to the past point.


Let's see if this can be used for advancing Zelda's metagame or at least we have 1 more trick for us!!

can you still love jump diagonally OoS like you can from hit?

not seeing how this is useful either TBH........

this puts Zelda exactly where she doesn't want to be in a fight, right above her opponent.
And even if you were to somehow perform it in singles while your opponent is in the air, Nayru's has 30 frames of ending lag so it's not like your opponent wouldn't have time to anticipate you using an aerial.

Anything your opponent won't expect is a good mixup... it's such a shame this is a punishable mixup :(

As far as I can remember, the boost isn't very high but at least it's something?

yes, it's possible, I still don't get the timing very good, but it's possible.

it depends, if you somehow do it when the opponent is already going down he will have all the time to escape, but if you do it sooner just bait the airdodge.

Another thing is that the jump height is "choosable"(assumes that word exists), depending how long you take to input Jump+Nspecial.
