Man I had such high hopes for Brawl. Coming back to see that P:M is doing better than Brawl is kinda sad. Hopefully Nintendo will recognize their mistake, but I doubt that. Honestly though, I believe that Nintendo is not the company you want to handle competitive games. Especially now that Dota and LoL are dominating, I don't think to many people will give smash a second thought, which is kinda sad. I honestly haven't played this game in almost a year because of work. Most people that played this game that I remember, were in college and once all of them start to drift/already have drifted away I believe that the competitive scene for this game will consist of casual players looking to get together in large groups and have fun. There is nothing wrong with that, but I wanted smash to achieve much more than, "I plays for the lolz".

I don't know, but I hope that the next generation of players and this new smash game will shine. Good luck to all of those that wish to pursue this game as a serious hobby.

Hey, we're both here now so the thread is awesome.

Buuuuut yeah. Brawl just never ended up being competitively super awesome. I remember when people kept saying "give it time!" Then it never heavily improved.

I think an earlier MK ban would have been good.
