Can you not play with a friend next to you, with two friends online? I only see the option to play local multiplayer with randoms.

same problem here. the whole multipalyer online with friends feels like a joke.

It is a joke, but we can create battle arenas with people we meet here - I might add, all of us are in the same boat.

Send me your Nintendo ID codes or add me. We can make arenas and all play together.
