well, with the newly released pics of him in SC Legends...
and him being popular, do you think theres gonna be chances for him?
i think it would be really cool, since now we can see his non-cartoony pics, itd be awesome...

Yeah, not happening. I don't know how popular you think he is, but hes got nothing on classic fan-favorites like Mega Man, Bomber Man, or Pac-Man (who is, incidentally, made by the same company as Lloyd, hurting his odds big time).

There's already a Lloyd thread. At first I thought those were from the new Tales of Symphonia game and I was upset at how different he looks, but since it's from SC, it's actually pretty cool.

He from the Tales series of games, specifically Tales of Symphonia. He's a guest character in Soulcalibur.

he would be INNOVATIVE, which would be better than umm bomberman... i mean, he tosses bombs, and well, as much as im not a mega-fanboy, i suppose megaman or geno will take the spot, but i really really really hope, lloyd gets it...
and well, im not really knowing much, and im probably ignorant, but geno is just magic inside a puppet, and well, what can megaman (in the traditional look and attacks) do other than shoot? ---samus clone maybe?---
XD and it might sound rude i know... but lloyd is just too awesome...

I actually prefer the original art style. Realistic characters are boring. :/

Though any form of Lloyd Irving in Brawl would be satisfactory. A lot better than some lame character like PacMan.

when it was marios rpg 7 stars time, i remember people were, ah yea geno... bleh BOWSER!
and also people who had the chance hated megaman (the very very first one)
and... just look at the boxart! XD its a classic

but well, thats how i saw people comment here where i live...

I still have no more interest in Loyd Irving after seeing his many tiny threads...also have never even heard of his game before...

i dont want a childish/kid appealing 3rd party char... i want a good one tht would actually give more appeal to older people (i love brawl and smash whatever they do)
and well, i know the reg lloyd isnt too mature, but this one is :O awesome, and i might go for if they add lloyd, SC Legends would sell, and Tales Of Symphonia Knight of Ratatoskr would sell too... even lloys wont be the main there

Uh, the same can be said about lots of characters already in the roster. Tales of Symphonia was actually very successful, it was one of the highest selling Tales games - if not the highest. The game was also one of the only good RPGs on the gamecube, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Lloyd. I wouldn't be surprised to see the main characters of KoR either, since it would be great advertisement. There's only two main characters anyway, so I could see them both being in, epseically if the idea of a tales character was already considered during development. If there's one thing that can't be denied, it's that Llyod's popularity is definitely increasing.

I would prefere loyd over geno*puts on flame sheild* on the more franchises angle, but geno wins at the "no more swordsman" angle. although loyd does have many techniques that make him unique...I would like loyd in but I dont see it happening.

First thought: Oh My Jesus, Lloyd's gonna be in the next SC game?!

Seond thought: . . . He does not look right with a realistic model.

Third thought: Yeah, I'd still love him to be in Brawl. We'll see.

P.S. Psycho, I could say the same thing about Geno. >_>

I was planning on getting this game the instant I saw it, but now it just hit the roof of awesome.

I doubt Lloyd would make it to Brawl, but if he did... well, I don't know what I'd do. Something embarassing probably.

Lloyd Irving for Brawl! (I'd hate to see him in over Mega Man though)

Let me just say this... I LOVED Tales of Symphonia. One of the best RPGs I've ever played, and I usually don't like RPGs. The real-time battle system was awesome and the characters are great and memorable. I could see Lloyd fitting right in Smash.

That said, there are plenty of other 3rd party characters more deserving than Lloyd, such as Mega Man, Bomberman, and even Namco's own Pac-Man (hm, thats a lot of man's). In fact, I can see Soul Calibur characters getting in as a Namco rep, since Link appeared in the 2nd SC.

Heck, even more Metal Gear and Sonic characters, if allowed to, should be let in before Lloyd (Play as Gray Fox or Knuckles? Sign me up!).

Not saying Lloyd is a bad character, just there are more deserving ones.

I think that too.

Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite games, but actually I liked more other characters (Kratos, Genis, Zelos, Regal, Mithos, Yuan even if he wasn't playable). I don't think Lloyd stands a chance of being a character.

As many others, I also love Tales of Symphonia. It is one of the best rpgs I have ever played. Lloyd would be a dream of mine to play but at the same time there are a lot of sword charcters in Smash already. I would still have a heart attack if they put him in.

Lloyd would be a great addition the roster. i think he would be better than megaman. First off megaman seems like he would be a lot like Samus. No offense to the great Samus Aran. Second Lloyd would be a very unique character addition to brawl.

Where were you during the GC era? Tales of Symphonia was the first original major RPG on the GameCube, and it saved the system from falling into the hellhole of having no RPGs. It also is a very popular game with many fans. Finally, there is a sequel coming for the Wii.

You cannot be aware of the existance of Super Mario RPG without knowing Tales of Syphonia.

As many of these people may know, the Tales game go all the way back into Phantasia, the first tales game on the SNES. Though it was Namco, it originally sold on Nintendo Franchise, where deniers believe it's just a game that is no where related to Nintendo. This might even bring out the idea of the "first tales character" Cless.

Lloyd has as much chance and as much probability as other characters would as of getting into Brawl. If you're denying, you don't know what you're denying at.

Please, we want the drawn Lloyd xD (SC is emotionless faces, or at all slightly changing)
