I'm really sorry for copying your thread. I didn't know it existed.
No worries my friend :) I'll read through your thread and see if there is anything I can merge into my list! Extra help is always good!

If it helps though, I compiled a list of Super Smash Bros Music.

Super Smash Bros.
Menu (Melee) (Super Smash Bros. Melee)
Menu (Super Smash Bros. Melee)
Boss Battle (Melee) (Super Smash Bros. Melee)
Main Theme (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)
Menu (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)
Battlefield (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)
Thank you for this, I didn't list any of the Smash-specific songs in the OP, so I'll definitely add these. If I might ask, how have the Melee tracks been confirmed? Is there a video source?

Most notably, the new Wii Fit track is actually a remix of Victory Theme (Type A) from Wii Fit Plus.
Are you sure about this? Could you maybe post a link to the specific song you are referring to? Is it this song? Because it really doesn't sound anything like the remix in Wii Fit Trainer's video to me. Rather, the melody sounds identical to the song I have linked in the OP, at least to my ears.

Save the World, Heroes! from Find Mii II is actually a new remix.
This is honestly the one song that has given me the most trouble so far. I'm really on the fence... I definitely hear differences, but they are so subtle I thought my ears might have just been playing tricks on me. Why would they remix this song again, and make it so similar to the arrangement they already made? But since I've got a second opinion from you I'll put it down as a new remix, at least tentatively until further confirmation. Thanks for the help!

They were all from the video presentation.

I honestly can't tell. The theme is so remixed is almost not the same track anymore.
Opossum Opossum Venus of the Desert Bloom Venus of the Desert Bloom

What do you two think?

It definitely is. This one has differences I am confident about.

Compare the two tracks' instrumentation.

They're close but different.

By the way, Now or Never! from Splatoon plays when Moray Towers has a minute left.

It is not remixed.

Okay, I think I'm convinced that it is a new remix now. In the Mii Fighter video, the little flute flourishes are accompanied by what sounds like a celesta (or something similar), an instrument which isn't present in the Wii U/3DS arrangement.

By the way, if the theory of weekly music updates is correct, we should be getting a new song on the website at some point today. Fingers crossed!

It might be partly because the rest of the “updates” have been so dull, but I’ve really been getting really excited every time a new music segment is added to the website. Everything about this game looks amazing, and the music is no exception.

Not familiar with Snipperclips since I never played it, but I like the remix. I can see it playing on Pictochat, or maybe an Animal Crossing stage.

I dont know if someone already said it but noisy notebook from snipperclips is on the smash website now
https://www.smashbros.com/en_US/sound/index.html
Maybe we will get a snipperclips stage? (probs not)
YES!
This seems to confirm that a new song will in fact be added to the website every Tuesday. This will definitely keep me excited until the game's release!

I think a Snipperclips stage is definitely possible, though, the lack of a series icon has me doubtful.

I definitely like how this remix sounds, very unique! Maki Kirioka is the arranger (most well known as one of the composers for Metal Gear Solid). She brought us the Wii Fit Plus Medley and the Freakyforms remix in SSB4 - I can definitely hear the similarity in terms of style.

You think if they would consider remixing some Miitopia music? Maybe for the Find Mii stage?

I'm still holding out hope that Melee's Brinstar theme will be the full version and not the neutered Smash Wii/3DS version.

Completely agree with this... I love the brass section that comes in during the second loop of the Melee version. But the fact that the DK Rap is still cut short has me pessimistic about Brinstar too.

they could well do, could also be on tomodatchi life seeing as the two games have connections
I could totally see a medley happening! Would fit on either stage I think.

I've decided to compile my song predictions into a list, to see how many I get right. Everyone predicts characters and stages, but I've never seen it for music! This is mainly for my own entertainment but I figured someone might be interested in my prediction list! I'm only writing my ideas for new remixes to save time. I will highlight a selection of them with descriptions, but mostly it will just be a basic list. It's pretty lengthy - I'm definitely overshooting how many new songs will be in the game - but oh well. Feel free to join in the fun and post your own!

Super Mario Bros. 2 Medley - Super Mario Bros. 2
A medley of key songs from Super Mario Bros. 2, akin to the SMB3 and SMW medleys from SSB4.
Likely would contain the character select theme, the overworld song, the underground theme, and the battle theme.
Perfect for the return of Mushroom Kingdom II from Melee.

World Map Medley - Super Mario Bros. 3
A medley of the iconic map themes from SMB3. Similar to the Ocarina of Time medley in the sense that it contains a lot of very brief melodies.

New Donk City (Metro Kingdom) / Jump Up, Super Star! - Super Mario Odyssey
A big band jazz arrangement of the New Donk City theme, which transitions into a an instrumental jazz arrangement of "Jump Up, Super Star!"

Above Ground / Map Theme - Yoshi's Island
An arrangement of the long-overdue overworld theme of Yoshi's Island blended with the map theme.

Kass' Theme / Champion Medley - Breath of the Wild
A medley a-la Brawl's Ocarina of Time Medley, with a central focus on the accordion. Begins with Kass' Theme, and transitions into each of the four champion's themes.

Maybe the Champion's Ballad could be in there too. Obviously would be much more upbeat than the original versions.

Main Theme / Isabelle's Theme - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
A more upbeat arrangement of the New Leaf main theme, which transitions into the "loading the game" theme (also known as Isabelle's theme).

Xenoblade Chronicles X Medley - Xenoblade Chronicles X
A rock medley similar to the Xenoblade medley from SSB4.

I'm not super familiar with the game, but from what I know about it, it would likely contain "Theme X," "Black Tar," and "Uncontrollable."

Turf War Medley - Splatoon
A rock & roll medley of the original four battle themes (besides Splattack, which is a standalone remix) from Splatoon:
"Ink or Sink," "Seaskape," "Kraken Up," and "Metalopod."

Rhythm Heaven Series Medley - Rhythm Heaven Series
A big, rapid-fire medley of some of Rhythm Heaven's most iconic songs. Karate Man, Ringside, Glee Club, Built to Scale, DJ School, Love Rap, etc.

Would fit nicely on the WarioWare stage.

Mega Man 3 Medley - Mega Man 3
A "sequel" to the Mega Man 2 Medley, in a sense. Maybe it opens with the title theme, transitions into the iconic stage select theme, and closes with Protoman's Whistle.

Birabuto Kingdom - Super Mario Land
Inside the Castle - Super Mario 64
Dire Dire Docks - Super Mario 64
Koopa's Road - Super Mario 64

YES FINALLY A CITY TRIAL REMIX!!

This song has been one of my most wanted for Smash. I thought with Smash Run being so similar to the City Trial mode itself, a remix of the song would definitely be in SSB4 - but sadly not even the original was ported in. Glad to see this classic song finally make the cut! (Plus I can check it off of my prediction list!)

Interesting to hear a slightly slower-paced version than the original. Not what I was expecting, but quite good nonetheless. I'm predicting that it will play on the Great Cave Offensive stage, anyone else?

Also, Noriyuki Iwadare is confirmed to be returning - he is a composer for a bunch of games, but most notably the Ace Attorney series and Kid Icarus Uprising. He's done several arrangements for Smash before, including Meta Knight's Revenge, With Mila's Divine Protection, and Air Man Stage. He's definitely contributed some great remixes, I'm looking forward to what else he has up his sleeves.

Would you guys mind if I made a thread that had a comprehensive list of every track in the series?

It would serve a different purpose than this thread.

Its less predictable than another Dreamland/Adventure/Superstar remix, at least.

But I totally agree with you. In general, the recent Kirby games are completely ignored. There hasn't even been a stage from a game beyond Super Star - we literally don't have any stage representation of Kirby games released in the 21st century! Really the only notable reference to modern Kirby is Kirby's new Final Smash.
Return to Dreamland, Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot, and Star Allies have excellent soundtracks with so much worth remixing. The Adventure Begins, Sky Tower, CROWNED, Floral Fields, Reflected Laughter, Moonstruck Blossom, Noble Haltmann's Theme, and so on and so forth. Here's hoping for at least ONE remix from any of these games.

I personally would have no problem with it, but I'm not sure if the mods would consider it redundant or not. Best to double check with a moderator and see if they consider it different enough.

so did triple deluxe and we got one song
To be fair, that game was new at the time of Smash 4. The real crime is the lack of songs from Return to Dreamland, especially Magolor's theme.
There's so much good Kirby music from the new games, I hope we get songs from those instead of mostly stuff from Superstar/Adventure. Get some Dreamland 3 love in there too.

The only good things to come out of the Miis and Smash was the Find Mii stage and its music tracks. Glad we get to play that in HD

We know anything about the music on Shadow Moses? Metal Gear has some really amazing tracks and Brawl’s remixes were incredible.

We know for sure that Encounter is back, but other than that nothing. I could see all of the tracks from that stage returning though, since I'm not 100% sure on if we will get new Metal Gear tracks

Its really cool that we have one of the big Sonic composers arranging Mega Man songs!

Anyone able to identify the songs in the medley? Dive Man's theme is all I recognize.

Anyone know why the music tracks in Smash 4 were neutered to around 2 minutes each? I assume it's because of storage space but man did that ruin a bunch of the Xenoblade songs and the DK Rap.

If I had to guess, it's due to the default battle setting being two minute Timed Match, so they want people to hear the "full" song.

And that's terrible because no one even uses the default time settings. You don't know how worried I am about Twilight of the Gods potentially being gutted the same way Id Purpose was.

Fire Emblem and Xenoblade are on the chopping block hard when it comes to music restrictions because of how long their tracks are. I remember how awkward id purpose sounded, but luckily they're remaking that song so it could flow better.

EDIT: I just listened to the song you mentioned in your posts, and I am very upset at how its going to be literally chopped in half.

Alright boys, tomorrow's Tuesday, which means new music tracks!

I'm really hoping we get something from Xenoblade this time. Unlike most other franchises, I'm not sure if we'll even get new remixes, considering the only one in Smash 4 only had two snippets of rearranged music. Hoping we get that full version of the Gaur Plain guitar track that played at the beginning of this medley:

i really hope captain toad's theme is in there somewhere
I hope so too! It would be a great choice for a remix - plus its been popping up in lots of Mario games since its debut, so its pretty iconic at this point.

I think we might get a similar medley for X, honestly, with a bunch of short snippets of major songs.

But I could see at least one of the Xenoblade songs getting a full, proper remix. Gaur Plains would be my guess, seeing that it is a stage

The X songs have tons of buildup, so I could see a medley working. I just hope the transitions won't be as jarring as they were in the Wii U Xenoblade medley.

Oooh, wasn't expecting a Snake Eater remix. I really don't have much of a personal connection to the Metal Gear series, but wow, what an arrangement!

I love how Toda took the already-obvious Bond references even further. The twangy guitar bit at the beginning is definitely an homage to the original Bond theme.
Nobuko Toda has composed for a lot of Metal Gear games, for those who may not know. She also remixed Good Egg Galaxy in SSB4, so this isn't her first time composing for Smash.
