1st matches against Sonic and Pikachu @ 1:41:28-1:50:30

2nd matches against Lil Mac and Diddy @ 2:37:58-2:51:51

Not the best display of her but i did my best against these matchups.
Does Header have some invincibility? In your first Diddy match you totally nullify a peanut with it, though it may just be the ball coming out and winning the projectile priority war.

Nope its just the ball beating the peanuts. I've noticed it ever since he was trying to edge guard me with them also i could have dropped SHFB to get out of most situation from the ledge.

Here are some of my matches (first time recording so be nice)

This one was my first recorded match.

This one was yesterday, and Fumbles was a good opponent, he just didn't know WFT very well. But he kept me on my toes!

Found a good variety of videos with gameplay of WFT. Also pretty diverse character wise which is good. Sorry if it seems like too much. I just really wanna get this thread rolling haha.

What's so good about the Wii Fit vs ZSS match? The Wii Fit player losses and doesn't store the Sun Salutation well.
Almost all her moves whiffs if WFT crouches which is a big plus and you could just punish her with Dtilt so its a decent match up.

Okay, thank you! When should I use the crouch and Dtilt? Thanks for the help! ^^
Yea that's what i find best against her since her dash attack, grabs, stun gun misses just watch out for her Dsmash also piviot Ftilt works as well hitting with the backside to follow up with your combos.

Thanks! Although I don't see many ZSS players online. Just curious, does crouching work against ranged grabs like Link's or Samus' grab?

Yeah. There are only a handful of characters that have low grabs, and none of the ranged grabs have that property.

Another loss in this vid, but he played excellent. I definitely want to bring attention to the B reversing for aerial movement, the incredibly low landing lag for SS airdodges(this works for DB too), and the windbox on the SS charge that makes MM whiff his grab.

edit: huehuehuehuehue

Decided to bite the bullet and put up ****quality videos of some for glory trolling. Also, the reason I'm using the guy is because he's much more trolly than Miss Fit.

0:33 In serious matches this should be a stock. Little Mac's sideB does not have super armor when started from the air. Ftilt works fine, but Dsmash will always seal the deal.

0:50 Kept getting caught by how fast that dash attack recovers. It's much better to just crouch against it.

0:56 Lol, you thought. Be careful with this as if she goes into her second crouch animation you'll raise just high enough to be hit.

2:50 No trolling here. I just didn't think the Usmash would reach. u_u;;

0:42 Recovery Trolling. Lol you thought. And yes I did let him get all of the hits before that.

0:59 Hylian Shield will block all versions of SS no matter the charge.

1:09 The back hit box of fair will pull people off stage for a soft spike. Best used on sloped stages.

1:14 Very thin stage here. Beware of characters that have huge hitboxes on their attacks. Explosions and things. Also good to know for custom DownB 2.

I honestly think it's sad that Wii Fit Trainers aren't commonly seen in tournaments. The only big smasher that uses Wii Fit Trainer is Anti. I hope that more Wii Fit Trainer mains join tournaments, etc.

WFT will get more use eventually. Give the meta some time to evolve and wait for Wii U. The competitive scene is going to be a lot bigger there.

Dabuz uses the male version occasionally too. In any case Crisspy's WiiFitTrainer is the best I've seen in tournament. Both Anti and Dabuz look pretty dry beyond having good fundamentals.

I don't think WFT is ever going to see Little Mac or Brawl MK usage because her skill cap is pretty high(unless some hitboxes change on the WiiU), but there's a pretty good chance that once things settle for a bit there'll be a decent amount of dedicated mains and an expected pocket WiiFit per tourney since she does so good against Rosalina.

Let this serve as a warning to all of you: If you are going to main this character you need a secondary to deal with Villager. Zinoto in my opinion played the matchup rather poorly and still won. Why was he randomly trying to Pocket predictively when you can easily Pocket reactively to any of WFT's projectiles? Why stay in the air so much when WFT can't reliably grab you on the ground and doesn't have any good shield pressure against short characters? Timber is really good against WFT but he didn't use it once. He had to be a really good player to take games off of Anti, but there was definitely a lot he could do better in this matchup.

You gotta remember this is wifi my dude. The set me and Anti played was extremely laggy; the lag is the reason I went Villager in the first place. I had to preemptively use pocket because of the input delay (if I didn't predict it there was no way I could've reacted to it). As for staying in the air so much, you got me there. I feel like WFT being so tall and her shield not really covering her body well makes it easy to shield poke her with the slingshot. It's why I got the fair --> pocket sun salutation, she just doesn't really have a good answer to slingshot. But I played the MU again and realized she legit whiffs her grab on Villager, so I probably should abuse that lol.

Hey guys, I know this is a video thread for matches, but I've composed a bit of a Competitive Guide for WFT, Hopefully you can find it insightful as well as entertaining, and please feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything!
