Moral of the story: yes, they love you too. They may act strange most of the time, but we are still customers of theirs so our feedback did not go on deaf ears( well unless you wanted Mother 3though you catch my drift.).

Gotcha Tbh I expected the same as you, thinking that the only way to win this battle would be to PR fight with Nintendo, glad that the company finally came to it's senses.
"Realism" is often pessimism in disguise, yet another example of how it's important to keep on hoping the best in addition to preparing for the worst.
