Legacy XP + BrawlEx Odd CSS Problem?

So I got Legacy XP and added Cloud and Galacta Knight with BrawlEx. I did the steps correctly and have an odd issue in the game. The icons for Cloud and Galacta Knight are embedded in one another constantly switching between the two icons, however only Cloud is accessble. Any idea on why this is happening? P.S. After a match using Cloud, the game cannot load the result screen and the result screen is just a black screen. How can I fix this issue?
