Smash Island welcomes you to Governors Comedy Club for a night full of Super Smash Bros Melee action!

6pm - Venue opens
6:15pm - Doubles tournament starts
7:30pm - Singles tournament starts
$10 Venue Fee
$5 Singles | Double elimination. Standard Melee rule set. "JV Bracket" offered after 32 singles entrants
$10 Doubles | 2v2 double elimination bracket ($5 per player)

PRIZES!
100% of entry fees supports the corresponding tournaments prize!
Events with 8-36 entrants will have prize support for 1st 2nd, and 3rd place. 4th place will receive prize support with 37 or more entrants.
Prize amount is rounded to the nearest increment of 5 dollars and generally follows this percentage structure [1st:60%, 2nd:30%, 3rd:10%] & [1st:53%, 2nd:27%, 3rd:13%, 4th:7%]

Event Code of Conduct
Smash Island aims to operate tournaments that are fun to attend and offer the highest value to Smash Bros enthusiasts and competitors. To uphold this mission statement the following policies are in place.
1) After a match is officially called and one player (or team for doubles) is seated and ready to start the match their opponent has 8 minutes to arrive to the set-up until the first round is forfeit, an additional 4 minutes until the second round is forfeit, and another 4 minutes for round 3 for best of 5 matches. If neither parties arrive to their match the TOs may distribute match losses after 10 minutes
2) Smash Island reserves the right to issue warnings and eject patrons acting in ways that display poor sportsmanship, are abusive towards anyone at the venue, or disrupt the operation of the tournament or stream.
