Is there a way to make the "L-Cancel Training Wheels" code make your character flash red if you fail instead of white when you succeed?
I am trying to get my friends to play this game so I wanted to try to turn on the training wheels gecko code to help them out and honestly I don't see the point in it. It flashes so fast it is hard to notice in a match. The RED FLASH on fail works a lot better and I feel would actually be 10x better for learning but it doesn't auto cancel. If we could combine the two it would be the ultimate noobarino code.

I can pay if needed via paypal. Just let me know price. I would do it myself by I am clueless with coding.

Seems the latest version of 20XXTE comes with this code somehow. This is taken directly from their version changes list on newest release.

  • L-Cancel Training Wheels may now be combined with L-Cancel Flash Unsuccessful setting to indicate failed L-cancels instead of successful ones.
How can we get this to work on normal 20XX training pack paired with faster melee on PC?

Use this code with Melee Code Manager
Code:
Flash Red on Unsuccessful L-Cancel
*Do not use with "L-Cancel Training Wheels (Flash White on Success)"*

On the 20XX mod you can toggle: Red on Fail, White on Success, and Auto L-Cancel.
If you don't already have it, it can be installed using a Wii and the GC Memory Card Manager(more info on the 20XX website).

Yeah I want it to auto L cancel like the l-cancel training wheels gecko code. The difference is that code flashes white on successful instead of red on non successful. I believe the importance of this is you should be used to seeing the game as vanilla as possible and the white flashes all the time can be distracting and you could actually get used to them. I know I can used flash red on unsuccessful but with my friends that are bad I want them to see the red to know that they messed up, but while also auto canceling for them so they can try and keep up with me.

It seems 20XX TE feels the same way. Their newest release apparently does this. This is taken directly from their change list.

So how do i put this code into normal 20XX training pack?

This just seems like the nomal flash red when you fail code. Not really what I am asking for.
