Nah, Florida is okay. MVD, Fyre, RedHalberd, ESAM, Xaltis, 2link? are all cool. I think Im missing someone D-1? I forgot his tag too many D's around here.

You need a Troy Polamalu shampoo commercial for Brawl with you, Fyre, Seibrik, ESAM, Nick Riddle and RedHalberd. Florida would be forever the coolest region from then on unquestioned.

Hey actual Pit mains, How do you feel about Down-B? I screw around with a lot of characters and Pit used to be one of my absolutely least used but recently I've been playing with him in sandbag matches.

Is it just me or does anyone feel/see how awesome Mirror Shield is? That move seems like it has loads of potential.

it depends on the matchup.

But its great for gimping some characters hard

Falco and fox come to mind, ruin their chances with arrows for using side b and force em to use Up b

destroy their recovery with mirror shield. Its good for a few matches, and...believe it or not...I gimped a metaknight main with mirror shield before :troll: he used *****nado trying to recover with it, and i mirror shielded him to his death :troll:

of course don't expect that one to happen often....but for fox or falco, its pretty good for ruining their recoveries

and also for lolz mirror shielding ganon's warlock punch to whip him across the stage and hit any other players with it is just hilarious.

I love to Mirror Shield many recoveries, from DK to Ike, to dumb MKs. It's a brilliant move in some MUs, and obviously not just a reflector. Start learning how to use it quickly, for it will be important.

I mirror shield gimp metaknights all the time. If they shuttle loop to get back on stage and you throw out mirror shield against their glide attack they'll float right back off the stage to the blast zone because it actually reverses controls for a bit so the more they try to move towards the stage the more they move away and die.

It gimps the spacies up bs, the psi kiddies, charizard/squirtle, DK, Kirby, Ike and more relatively easily.

It's also good to mess up characters like Marth who will plank the ledge with fair and the reverse is also good for mirror shielding annoying edgeguarding like Lucario fsmash.

I b reversal with it when trying to land as well just as a mix up.

Also, the hitbox doesn't stay out the entire time when you mirror shield a falcon/ganon reverse punch Oklahoma.

I mean even moreso than the reflect aspect because Mario can do it too. I like the non-bubble shield aspect of it, and the fact that you can tilt it. It's pretty awesome

Don't forget it has super armor frames just before you hear the shield sound when used on the ground, not that it's important, but hey, it's part of the move.

I think Mirror Shield has potential to be used in combat more often. We can mix-up and "counter" moves similar to how Marth's and Peach use their counters, except ours is better and we can choose which move we can punish with depending on the opponent's lag. I think if we started to use it more that way, we can seriously start to have the upper hand in matches. It has tons of potential and I have never seen a Pit use it in the way I mentioned except Zex in one match vs Marth a while back.

I use it to gimp yoshi's trying to get back to the stage with a super jump (DJ) into nair or something, and it's funny when you reflect their fsmash or DA and it just leaves them wide open, Mirror Shield is really cool.

The End of his Side B, after his omnidirectional hitboxes where gone. I killed him that way. When a sonic came at me with Down B, I pivot Down B's and reflected him forcing him to land on the SV platform where I pelted him with 3 arrows

i've actually reflected a falco's side b before, thing is you have to be right in their face bc you can pretty much only reflect it at the very start, and when all is said and done its just easier to destroy their chances of even using Side B with arrows and then ruin their up b instead(of course chances are by that time you've knocked em far off enough with arrows that their UP b isn't gonna help em anyway, and the mirror shield is more or less just to rub salt in their wounds ;3 )
