Seriously, why is he here... It reminds me of others who don't contribute here, to my extreme concerns of trying to improve Pit again. That and I'm losing the spark a bit until I get more practice. I've been trying to take a short break to see what effect it'll have on me, though only basic brawls seems to be on and off. The real test will begin soon.

you should pick him up anyways gheb. aside from wario i don't think this team has any real fail point with or without MK. of course there are other characters this is true with but they just aren't as cool

guys this dude is one of the best TOs there is and the SWF went too far. he's been banned for months now and this is THE main TO for the fort worth area of texas, a once top tier of texas region that is starting falter because they are having such a hard time setting up tournaments without denti being able to post or get/reply to messages and seeing as how he sets up the venues and everything
I need to cover Wario, DDD and Pikachu and it wouldn't hurt to be good vs Sheik as well. ICs, GW and MK are all better choices than Pit in that regard. Without MK I'd have to use my 2nd character more than half of the time making him not even a second anymore but my main. Without MK Wolf is bound to be worthless and while I enjoy playing him I'd probably have to limit him to mid-tier tourneys. I'd still need a new main either way in that case and Pit would be the first I'd give a try.

btw admiral would you mind testing some of the combo stuff i asked about in the true combo thread since i know you can record vids and you are good with pit so you are a naturally a good candidate to test at least one section for sure. 2 if you would like

I don't record. I send all stuff to various ppl (there aren't many anymore) who have the ability to record; I just take the 3 min replays. I may be distracted if I help without having a quick chat to talk to in since I'm multitasking (that includes being distracted in basic brawls). As for the B-throw CG thing, you can count on me for it as I've been doing it on occasion when the moment arises, and even did so against a D3 in my 2nd CV.

actually the most important one to check (imo) would be to see who we can bthrow>dsmash besides kirby and what percent we stop being able to do that. just take the game go to training mode and see who it true combos on and what percent it stops working on characters that it works on at all. type the results as you do them or write em down and then just submit it to the thread. hell you don't have to do the video, someone else can do a vid. i just need to know who this works on/what percents it stops working on them. i would start with kirby so you can see what it looks like since it's a known fact that it works on him at 0% but no one ever tested to see how long it lasts

It's kinda tough because true testing includes having someone try to DI away rather than use a dummy CPU for this, while at the same time, training mode keeps every move at a fresh state. Plus I am not certain on how this works without seeing it firsthand with instructions.
