The Kapow Smash series returns just in time for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Starting with Volume 0, The Eve will be the preview to what's more to come here in the years to come.
The event will also be streamed by Typo House Games to capture all of the action: https://twitch.tv/typohousegames/
The shop opens at 1 PM. Feel free to sign up for the brackets and set up your things. Sign-ups for each bracket ends 5 minutes before the tournament start time, so please get here on time. The doubles bracket will begin at 2 PM, and singles will begin at 3 PM. The shop will close at 7 PM, and the tournament is expected to wrap up by then.
Main registration for this tournament is on this page. You will not however be able to pay online in advance. You must pay for your registration at the front desk via cash or card. This is mainly for seeding and estimating the event size, so we highly encourage you to register ASAP.
Tournament participants must pay a base venue fee of $7.50. The event fee for singles is $5, and $2.50 for each teammate for doubles. Spectators are welcome to come for free.
Bringing a full Smash Ultimate setup (Switch, dock, and monitor) may allow you to get a $5 discount off of your venue fee. Discounts will be given on a first-come first-serve basis.
The prizes for winners will be cash. See the Prize section below for distributions.
All brackets are DOUBLE ELIMINATION, meaning you must lose TWO sets to be eliminated. See the Rules section below for more.
