... wtf are you using scythe/gs with war for, .. wars use axes

lol, thats what everyone told me, I just bought a moth axe to replace my flame gs. I was in valkurm for 6 levels, no upgrades of any kidn the whole trip

-.- omg z... this is the difference between WoW players and FFXI players. lol anyway ill tell you more when we smash next. basically each job has a weapon grade system, for example my character is thief, heres what my skills would look like
75 thief
dagger: A- = 269
evasion: A = 276
parry: A- = 269
marksmanship: C+ = 230
club: E = 200
archery: C- = 220
h2h: E = 200
shield: F = 189
sword: D = 210
throwing: D = 210
like thats the max skill i could have with those at that lvl
now for you war it would look like this
18 warrior
archery: D = 49
axe: A- = 57
club: B- = 54
dagger: B- = 54
evasion: C = 52
great axe: A+ = 57
great sword: B+ = 54
H2H: D = 49
marksmanship: D = 49
parry: C- = 52
polearm: B = 54
scythe: B+ = 54
shield: C+ = 52
staff: B = 54
sword: B = 54
throwing: D = 49
the - , + dont matter till your over lvl 60 then they start to show difference in skill lvl
higher skill lvl means better accuracy and more attack.

omg, you have no idea the number of buttons we need to click during a fight in WoW. The most impressive thing I've done in FFXI is a macro for

its also +3 acc more, +3 atk more, which makes a huge difference when your in dunes which is ****ty to lvl in.
and by the way Z, my thief has 40 macros... 8 of those being for equipment swaping, 4 for bolts, 2 for ninja spells, all the rest are job abilities, and party reports

if you put wait 3, theres a chance you attack between combo and your boost so better to have it at 1

if you have any suggestions for 10-18 thats near windy, im all ears.Lol, I could possibly put up a good argument against your 40 macro things with spells and such....but sawa puts a lot more work into his WoW button clicking.

and i have 8 of those, not to mention misc. ones for steal and such, its more of a bad interface then something im proud to admit, if i used a windower, i could possibly have 15+ equipment change in one macro instead of having to press 3 macros to change my gear for one thing
like i have macro for "sneak attack" to swap in dex. gear.
i have macros for "trick attack" swap in agi. gear
some macros for both SA and TA together
Weapon skill gear swap str gear, or dex/agi since it stacks with SATA
acc gear, more macros
ranged acc, for pulls
steal gear, for fun
blah blah blah, i wish ffxi would fix there **** so i didnt have to press buttons 24/7

I tried a windower, slowed me down a good deal =\ I notice FFXI doesn't support addons. When I asked in the ls if it had any they asked, "whats an addon?" And the only one they knew of was windower, and they thought it was this incredible concept....to play their game in windowed mode >,>
