Now why do you say that?
King K.Rool would be a welcome addition to me. His inclusion would be plausible and it would address the criminal under representation of the DK series (2 is still not enough for me). If anything he should be included simply because Brawl needs more crown wearing crocodiles.
I would prefer him as a PC of course but if he was only to feature as a NPC involved as a boss in the Subspace Emissary then I'd still be happy.

I actually would enjoy him a lot in the game, maybe he could be an adventure mode boss, and after you beat him you unlock him.

Thats the idea everybody has and likes. no more senseless fighting to unlock chars for brawl!
I might not enjoy him that much in the end,, maybe it is just because i don't like heavy chars. But I beleive sakurai said he would mix up styles a bit, maybe there is a chance for me.

The gang (the players you and your friends picked) reaches the top of DK falls, only to see a plane.
The plane would probably crash into the bottum of the stage to start the cycle, but anything could happen.
maybe in story mode, that is where you meet k rool?

it's from jungle beat, so it would be space. i think the end is where you fight sumo kong in jungle beat, but instead it's probably just a bunch of those monkeys clapping and cheering you on, and the stage just become flat like final destination

hmm, I never played the game (sadly, I am lacking in money), it would be a bit odd to go out into space, but in a game of senseless violence where you fly like a baseball when hit and return of a shining platform, and where you can jump two more times than you can in reality, etc. that won't be a problem, but weird nonetheless (at least to me

I kind of think that K. Rool's chances have gone up based on the fact that Diddy has already been confirmed. In Melee, every series that had more than one character had at least one hidden character. I personally don't think that Diddy will be a hidden character, because I think that the hidden characters will be revealed last. It seems like they would have made Diddy hidden if there wasn't going to be anymore DK characters. So I think K. Rool might be the DK unlockable character.

but thinking about these ups and downs-diddy might also be lowering k rool's chances also, sure he is making more allies for DK and making an imbalance on the hero/villain ratio, but he also take up a character spot that may be k rool's
There is a low chance of that in my opinion-looks at PT-but sakurai seems to be very random. personally I still would think that the raise is higher than the lowering.

Well I can understand a few of the B moves for King K rool
B: mabey he throws his crown like from DKC
Down B: could be a cannon ball that falls infront of him from DKC
Up B: Probably some kind of jump move that he comes pounding back down to the ground, sort of like kirbys sword but almost like yoshi's down B. I dunno. Its a harder one.
Foward B: Most likey his cannon from DKC2 or something.
I think K rool would be good, but with Bowser, and possibly Ridly around, giant reptiles are getting alittle old to me.

Now I'm almost 100% possitive we'll see K.Rool in some kind of way in Brawl. Playable... I doubt it. But I think it's now very very likely we'll see K.Rool as a boss character. Which is also good, since K.Rool was a long absent character in DK games, but luckly he returned in King of Swing. And even though I'd love to see him playable, a boss character would also be great. K.ROOL FOR BRAWL!
or you could use common sense and think of more likely bosses from older or more recent DK games. Petey Piranha ISNT a final boss for a game. K. Rool IS. thats that like saying if Bowser werent in melee or confirm yet for brawl, he'd automatically be an SE boss too... K. Rool's chances for playability arent as high as Diddy's but if its true that Sakurai wants to give underrepped franchises more rep, then K. Rool is as good as in.

K. Rool will show up. i am a little skeptical about playable appearance cause he wasn't high on the list, but then again, Red wasn't on it at all, so who knows?

Ness wouldn't be unlockable seeing as how he was a starter in Melee... anyway, the fact that there were three unlockable Pokemon and only one starting Pokemon in Melee blows your argument to pieces.

I think this thread should be closed so me or DDK could make a real support thread that doesn't bash him in the first post.
Are you kidding? The mods keep this open and close REAL K Rool support threads? So a mod is being an ******* and doesn't like K Rool and likes the idea of a bashing support thread. Incompetent much? Then again they do support the name "ink drop" so I'm not surprised.

Wow that's one hateful first post for a support thread.
Mmmm sad day for us all. I would only presume that a minion of Bower taking over K.Rools' job of stealing DKs' banana stock would lead us to conclude that K.Rool is not in the game. Well that really burst my bubble didnt it? I guess I can only hope that K.Rool is working for Bowser.

I thought this but then it occured that perhaps Sakurai is mixing up the characters for the subspace emissionary. I mean we see DK and K Rool throw it down in every other game why should he do exactly the same now? Pit and Mario been paired up, Kirby and Peach/Zelda and Meta Knight fighting (presumably) Fox. It seems Saks is taking this oppertunity to mix the characters up. For all we know it could be a K Rool/Samus or K Rool/Pikachu showdown.

Still, even if there is a mix up, it doesn't bode well. K.Rool isn't really the most important of villains, and really he needs to be paired up with his adversary. And Bowser just seems to be here since we need him to fight someone he'd be familier with, since Mario's off fighting the main badguy. =/

K.Rool is, more or less, comedic relief, but he can fight. Also, K.Rool probably sent those enemies himself to steal the bannana stock, like he does in almost all the DK games that he is in. DK64 was his best appearance yet IMO, and he was hilarious as hell.

I like the idea of Sakurai mixing things up. that is kinda/sorta what Smash is about, right? All in all, the story line SHOULD tie in to K. Rool making an agreement with Bowser to get the bananas, because...why would Bowser care about the bananas? EVER? Hmmm.... maybe K. Rool is handling someone else, and tells the subspace minister about DK's weakness over his bananas... and the minister appoints Bowser to deal with this... this is going up in my villans theory thread..haha

But K. Rool isn't important enough for that. He's no icon, he's just DK's generic villain. If you take that away from him and make him fight someone else, then that's just silly. And as for Bowser taking the bananas, it may well be because he's a villain plain and simple. He doesn't really need a explanation for it all. =/
