If you guys actually read the Smash Blog you'd see I made a separate update like I usually do for them now.

This update wasn't bad at all; it was a lot more comprehensive than similar updates. Plus it confirmed another couple of songs, three if you count the Ice climbers song

I know it's not that a big of a deal and I guess I'll grow accustomed to it.

And I'm assuming Vault = Snapshots, Videos, Trophies, Stickers & all that jazz...

I don't really like the new main menu layout, looks like a kid let loose with crayons.

Well this is the same guy who did Kirby Air Ride, so I'm not surprised the menus are similarly bouncy. (The music in that game was amazing btw, and it included a better remix of FoD)

On the other hand, I do expect the backgrounds to all animate by the time we get the final version; so far only some of the backgrounds are changing.

Yes! I...I actually approve of a second game mode in a row! I don't know why, but I love seeing menues of this game.

By the way, I never messed with the Deflicker in Melee, what exactly does it do? There seems to be close to eight options there!

what happened to "single player" and "vs."?

And what about Adventure mode and home-run contest?
You can have two-player in both of those modes.

Adventure and home-run will probrably be on solo,since the main focus of these modes is single player.

At least we now know what to see when we decide to adjust the options. It also shows what the other sections of the Main Menu are.

Solo: 1 Player
Group: VS Mode
Vault: Trophies and Stickers
Data: Brawl Records
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi battles

When I'm trying to wake I often have very realistic dreams of me going to my computer and checking the updates.

Today I dreamed Jiggilypuff was confirmed.
Not sure which update I like more.
I do like that we got to see the main menu though.
Maybe the English/Japanese switch will be in Data?

If the sound test is open from the start, then I hope music and sound effects for things you haven't unlocked (like stages or characters) only become available once you do so... Otherwise it's spoiler heaven.

So, you could erase Adventure mode eh? What does he mean by that? Will Adventure mode really be so long that you have to erase it's data?

Also, why can't you erase characters anymore? (At least, from this screen I assume you can't, besides the erase all option...)

I think if you erase adventure mode you erase your characters since you unlock characters via adventure mode

It's nice that the sound test is available from the start. This might mean that we won't have crappy unlockables like the KO counter for Time Melee.

The more I see Adventure, the more I think that there will be more than Subspace Emissary.

I have a bad feeling they'll just post many updates on menus. They still have rules, vault, solo menu, maybe data, and maybe other submenus. Oh well, this update was slightly better than when I very first saw it.

I used the erase character button 2-3 times throughout the 6 years I payed; it's actually fun to reunlock characters, not stages.
