That time of year is here, the premiere West Coast tournament for Super Smash Bros 64 is here, Snosa! This year we find ourselves in the notorious Esports arena of Santa Ana, just minutes away from the LAS House. To make this event even more exciting, for those that attended the infamous Genesis 3 Salty Suite - rest assured this will definitely blow that out of the water with the Salty Suite being held in the Esports arena's newly added Esports bar!

Venue: $35 (See deadlines below) Singles: $10 Doubles: $10 Now featuring WTF Bracket! Which means more set ups, and more games for each participant!

General Registration: 4/21-6/1 (Venue $35) Late Registration: 6/2-6/13 (Venue $40)

General Rules

• Game Settings: 4 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit

• Items are disabled.

• Accidental pausing mid match forfeits a stock.

• A tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage.

• Timer: All streamed matches and top 16 matches will be used with the ever drive timing device. Additional timed matches will be at the discretion to TO’s and volunteers to be implemented as well. Players not using the ever drive timing device may request their match be timed. Only one player needs to request a timer for the match to be timed. Matches not using the ever drive timing device will have a TO start an 8 minute timer on their personal electronic device. When 1 minute is remaining, it will be announced to both players. At the conclusion of time, the TO or volunteer will determine the winner based off of stocks, and then percent’s if necessary.

• Alting: You will be immediately disqualified from the tournament with no refunds if you are found using an alternate tag/tags and/or hide your identity to manipulate the bracket/seeding. The only exception to this rule is if the player notifies a TO prior to the tournament start date. The only exception to this rule is if the player notifies a TO before prior to the registration end date.

Doubles Rules • Friendly Fire enabled • Life stealing stocks from a teammate is allowed

Match Procedure

  1. Players select their characters. Either player may choose to Blind Pick. In this case, each player secretly tells a third player their character before picking with the third player verifying their selections.
  2. Players play Rock-Paper-Scissors. Winner chooses controller port (following guidelines of neutral start graphic).
  3. The players play the first match of the set.
  1. The winning player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
  2. The losing player of the preceding match may choose to change characters.
  3. The next match is played.
  4. Repeat steps 4-6 until best of 3, or best of 5 for Top 8, is finished.
