As a result of hosting local tournaments every week, the Leeds Smash Tournament scene is bigger than ever! Due to the growing success of these tournaments, with increased numbers every week, and more virgins than you can shake a prepubescent stick at, we are delighted to announce the return of 'Did you See The Reads In Leeds?!' patch 4.0.1. In case you're unfamiliar, DYSTRIL is a regional 32 man Melee tournament, showcasing some of the countries top ranking players in an all out death match! Consisting of Pools, Doubles, and an AM bracket, there is plenty of variation to cater for players ranging from beginners, to previous tournament winners looking to defend their title. Featuring a professional recording and streaming set up, main bracket matches will be streamed to twitch.tv/lssmash. If you want to get a rough idea of the type of atmosphere to expect on the tournament date, why not head on over to view previous matches/shenanigans! If you want to attend, but are worried about accommodation for the duration of your stay, then worry no more! As a community dedicated to having a great time doing something we love, we are more than happy to arrange somewhere local to stay. If you do require this, please contact us within a reasonable time frame so that we can do our very best to accommodate you! The tournament will be held at The Fenton, which is not far from the university and train station, located at 161-165 Woodhouse Ln, Leeds LS2 3ED. Pools are expected from 3pm, and we have free reign over the venue until 11pm.
