Come join the University of New Hampshire's Melee community for Cold Hard Smash!

This tournament will be held in the clubhouse at the Cottages of Durham; you can park anywhere on the property.
The venue opens and registration begins at 11:30 AM; the tournament itself starts at 1:00 PM.

Entry fees are $10 per entrant for SINGLES and $10 per team for DOUBLES; this is in addition to a $5 venue fee. The venue fee will be waived for those who bring a setup (TV, Wii/Gamecube, SSBM) so be sure to get in on that!

We will run Apex's ruleset at this event, see here: https://www.apex-series.com/rules/melee/

Prize Money Breakdown for Singles (under 32 players):
1st: 60%, 2nd: 30%, 3rd: 10%.

Prize Money Breakdown for Singles (32+ players):
1st: 48%, 2nd: 22%, 3rd: 15%, 4th: 10%, 5th: 5%.

We will be running pools that will transfer into two brackets. Those who successfully make it out of these pools will be placed in the pro bracket. Those who fail to advance out of pools will be placed in the amateur bracket. We hope to see you there!

How exactly that'll be handled will be turnout-dependent. But from what I understand, that's the original plan.

We're looking at a Melee-specific tournament; Smash 64 likely will not be a part of this event. Same goes for Project M and Brawl.
