Run, Don't Walk
Siouxland Smash presents: Run, Don't Walk, a Midwest regional Melee, PM, and Smash 4 tournament! Held in the Stoney Creek Inn Ballroom, a whopping 6585 sq ft., in Sioux City, IA. With $800 in pot bonuses, to be split across all games!

Venue Fee: $15 pre-reg, $20 day of.

Event Fee: $10 per singles event, $20 per team for doubles.

Online pre-registration closes one week prior to the event, the last day to pre-reg will be Saturday, June 24th. Pre-registering saves you $5 and helps us plan on numbers better.

If you pre-reg you CAN still pay cash at the door and still receive the $5 off, although you may also pay online when you pre-register, there is a small processing fee to offset PayPal cost as well.

Pot Bonus Split

  • Melee Singles - 25%
  • Smash 4 Singles - 25%
  • Project M Singles - 20%
  • Melee Doubles - 10%
  • Smash 4 Doubles - 10%
  • Project M Doubles - 10%
Registration for any event will be closed an hour prior to the event beginning, any late entrances can not be guaranteed. If you think you're going to be late, let us know ASAP and we'll see what we can do depending on time.

Please bring plenty of setups!! There is room for plenty of setups so if you're asking yourself if you should bring your setup, you should! The more setups the faster and smooth the tourney will get to run. A full setup being a console + game with a CRT or Monitor depending on the game. Also a Wii U gamecube adaptor for Smash 4 setups.

Please bring Vanilla Melee or TE over 20xx setups to prevent as many issues as possible! 20xx setups are not banned by any means, but are not preferred due to potential crashes.

Tentative Schedule (may change)

  • 10am: Doors open, registration begins, friendlies available.
  • 12pm: PM Doubles & Wii U Doubles begins.
  • 2pm: PM Singles & Wii U Singles begins.
  • 4pm: Melee Doubles begins.
  • 6pm: Melee Singles begins.
