Joker's Classic Mode ideas/speculations

Hi everyone,

I was playing through Classic mode this weekend and I was wondering how they would handle Joker's path. I was thinking something related to stealing the hearts of sinners, therefore something related to the seven deadly sins represented in fights.


Fight One - Lust. Bayonetta in Mementos (if they dont choose this stage to represent Joker, then Castle Siege hazards off).

Fight Two - Gluttony. King Dedede in Yoshi Story Melee. "Blooming Villian" plays in the background. Shyguys constantly come with food to the stage, and food related items (spuer spicy curry, bananas, etc.) appear constantly.

Fight Three - Wrath. Ridley in Mushroomy Kingdom (Battlefield version). "Blooming Villian" plays in the background. Bomb-related items appear frequently.

Fight Four - Greed. Wario in Gold Plains. "Life Will Change" plays in the background. Wario starts the battle with 70 coins already.

Fight Five - Jealousy. Metal ZSS in Casino Palace (if they dont choose that stage to represent Joker, then in Omega Fourside). "Whims of Fate" plays in the background.

Fight Six - Pride. Capitan Falcon (gold skin), and after he's defeated Ganondorf (red skin) appears in hazards-off Pirate Ship. "Rivers in the Desert" plays in the background.

Bonus Stage

Boss - Sloth. Giant Jigglypuff, followed by Master Hand (representing the "control" over the fighters).

This would also mirror a little bit the development on the P5 bosses, however Vanity would not be there, ofc.



What do you think? Do you have any other ideas on how they could represent the game in classic mode?

I'm still under the belief/hoping that they base his Classic Mode of the Palace Rulers in order of when you face them in Persona 5. So I imagine this fights would go like this (can't think of a stage or music though sorry lol):

Round 1: Male Wii Fit Trainer/King K. Rool/Bowser (Kamoshida) - All three would fit Kamoshida to a T. Male WFT is an athlete (even having the volleyball spike attack) while K. Rool and Bowser are "kings". Bowser is also a villain with an obsession towards a female character (Peach) much like how Kamoshida was lusting over Ann.

Round 2: Bowser Jr (Madarame) - Probably a stretch since the only thing that would remotely tie in to Madarame would be the Shadow Mario Final Smash. Inkling Boy could be another option seeing as the inking is similar to what happens to your characters when fighting him, but I don't want to repeat characters so yeah lol.

Round 3: Wario - Wario fits Kaneshiro to a T.

Round 4: Default-colored Inkling Girl (Futaba) - Reason why I didn't want to use Inkling Boy for Madarame, please Sakurai bring the "Futaba is an Inkling meme" too full circle XD.

Round 5 - Olimar + R.O.B. Team (Okumura) - Nuff said, how many ROBs they're be will be based on how many robots Okumura had. Olimar only shows up at the end after defeating all the ROBs.

Round 6 - Bayonetta (Sae) - Closest to Shadow Sae appearance-wise.

Bonus Stage

Boss: Master Hand (w/ Crazy Hand at higher Intensities) - Honestly just think Joker will just get Master/Crazy Hand as his boss (and hey VA reference would be nice lol). If Rivers in the Desert is in the game (which I freaking hope so!), then that plays during the fight to reference Shido.

I did not know which character could represent envy on itself (Maybe Luigi being envious of being in Mario's shadow? Maybe Lucina being envious of Marth's strengh hence wanting to be like him?), so I went with something closer to the boss fight that represents the Envy sin in the P5 game (the casino boss).

I would loooooooove stand-ins for the Palace Bosses. K. Rool as Kamoshida is kinda a no brainer; both are naked kings wearing red capes.

Round 4 probably shouldn't be a Futaba stand-in though, since

I think Bayonetta would work. Silver hair Zelda can be Sae.
