Jeremy Damen (Jem) Survivor 2012 Audition Tape!

Hey guys. Survivor had applications that required a video entry that ended in October. I made the deadline just barely because there was a tournament over the weekend and had to make the video quickly unfortunately because I found out about it right before it ended.

I decided to upload it to youtube to get views and such, so that maybe CBS can notice or something and atleast give me an extended interview or something without me having to hold the camera. I am not a fan of rehearsing a skit to try to make them laugh, because my laughter comes naturally.

I am Jeremy Damen, 21 years old from Marysville, Washington. I am a pro gamer, sports fanatic, and much more icon_biggrin. I didn't mention it in the video, but I am a big fan of Survivor. It isn't just about the money to me, I think it could be a life changing experience to see, visit, and live in a place I'd likely never get to go to. It would help me learn more about myself, test my strength and will power, and my social game in the ULTIMATE game -- Survivor

A big driving force would be to help those that I love icon_smile

So I thought I'd upload it, and if you guys could like it, leave a nice comment if you digged it, share with your survivor friends, etc that would be awesome and I would be grateful!

P.S: I have asked Ken if he has any hookups or can atleast tell them to give me an interview or chance or something.

P.SS: The video limit was 3 minutes MAX, so I had to cut out a lot of parts. I am not in the same league as Ken. People can debate what pro means all they want, but since ive won a lot of tournaments, I call it as that. Just felt the need to clarify those since I felt they would get called out.

If you don't like it, I'd appreciate if you just don't comment being a **** and stuff. Had to make it quick. THis was from last month, but wanted to see if it can get CBS' attention since a lot of people post theirs to youtube.

And besides -- Wouldn't it be neat to see a second smasher on Survivor?

Hah have confidence! Kind of weird that I was on their website again looking at Open Casting Calls, and there is one in WA December 2nd. It's for people who missed the registration via application and video online. So I won't do it since I filled out the online one, but I was like "well, thats weird and coincidential.." believe!!

And you missed the deadline for online/video registration, so you need to click Open Casting Calls on their website now and try to get to one near you.

Also, new Survivor tonight! Don't spoil it East Coast! Hope Ozzy wins out though

How would you feel if Ken was a returning player and you managed to get on?

I doubt they would let that happen, to be honest. They probably do background checks to make sure you dont stumble upon a friend or something accidentally, because you arent supposed to talk to the other contestants before the game starts and you're flown out there.

But if it did, that would be pretty cool. Especially if no one else knew, like Brandon Hantz style.

Oh I understand now. I was thinking that since you mentioned that you had to shorten it, you had a longer video that was unedited.

Nah, they want the video 3 minutes max time limit. And I found out about it so close to the deadline from the Survivor twitter and there was a tourmament during the weekend, that I wasn't quite sure what I could fit in. I actually had recorded 3 videos, but 2 of them barely went over the limit. So I figured I'd just say how I felt, not rehearse some joke like a lot of other videos do, and hope for the best I do think it'd be a wonderful experience, so I'm really hoping!

Anyone following the current season? Crazyyyy stuff lol

Lol!!! I think I could do pretty well. You just gotta avoid being an annoying idiot when you're hungry and thirsty and not getting to sleep on a bed for potentially 39 days

And I only eat once a day anyways cause I'm weird so :D

ive seen 15 seasons of Survivor and working on more, but pretty much the hardest part for a not physically strong person like myself would be getting past the merge. so not being a total waste in early challenges

In season 24 (starts in February) there is a guy from my little town in the season.. Pretty weird! (It's not me, the casting call was for Summer 2012 so Seasons 25-26. They record two seasons each summer)

I just saw this, and even though I'm way late, just wanted to say keep trying and hopefully you get a shot in the future if you're not on 25 or 26. I have to admit, not being able to apply myself has always been one of the reasons I'm jealous of you yanks, lol.
