Tried to register for スマコム/smacom but it seems like you can't complete it without a Japanese cell phone mail address (Japan has email addresses tied to the cell instead of just using the number for texting). I tried to skip that part and to use my gmail, but it wouldn't accept either. Too bad, I was looking forward to reading what Japan's thinking about melee these days =\

Thanks for posting!

And yeah it's too bad we don't see much of Machdash and Tani, etc.. anymore. But to be honest, I feel like the most recent Japanese players are much better anyways, so I hope they keep improving!

you wouldn't happen to know Keys2019 would you? DO you know if he plays in tournaments, or does he just do stadium/item set up vids?

aMSa doesn't play as well in Japan as he does over here because people in Japan know the Yoshi match-up better. That being said aMSa is still amazing, I just doubt he would be considered the best japanese player.

No, thats what /we/ know. I want to know the best player in Japan. Maybe we could ask aMSa.
You know he lives in Japan, right?

Though I am aware he has not placed quite as well in Japan, but his high placings in the US would give him the edge imo. I'd have to see a lot of recent results from Japan to convince me otherwise.
