So after speaking with

about an issue that I have seen within the game that can be directly seen most easily with Falco shine, is if you are OTGed with a move with low damage and high vertical knockback it can put you into a situation in the air where a double jump will give you increased vertical momentum and lead you to be KOed off the top.
The reason behind this it appears is that the jab reset is set to be at a threshold of 7 damage, meaning any move at or under 7 damage will "jab reset". Falco's shine does 8 damage, so does 7 or less when decayed. By changing this threshold to be knockback based instead of damage based (60 KB) it would allow more jabs to jab reset even when unstaled and would prevent situations like I mentioned from happening.
