Items are a staple of the Smash Bros series, appearing randomly in matches. Their effects range from slightly annoying to game-changing. Every Smash game has changed up the item collection in interesting ways, so what do you think we can expect from Smash on Switch in this area?
I'd be excited to see a new character-spawning item like the Poké Ball or the Assist Trophy. Perhaps Fire Emblem's Breidablik, or the DK Barrel from Donkey Kong, which could summon Fire Emblem heroes or members of the Kong family respectively. We could even get an item that summons a fighter from the roster itself!
