As I browse through IGN.com's Super Smash Bros. Brawl Complete FAQ, I only see good things. The developers at IGN are really, really generous with their descriptions of various updates, good OR bad.
Take the Yoshi's Story Ending Music. Though many, including myself, like it, a large number of fans aren't too fond of it. Here's their description:
"Yoshi's Story wasn't the most well-received of games, but there's no faulting the emotion of its music. Its ending theme returns here in remixed form, and will be played in the background of the Yoshi's Island stage. Because hey, there's nothing like beating up your friends to the sounds of singing cartoon dinosaurs. "

Now my point:
Many are concerned that the reviews of the game, from such sites as IGN and GameSpot, will be overwhelmingly negative. When I say "overwhelming", I don't mean giving Brawl a 3/10, I mean they will nitpick about stupid things, which will overall lead to a lower score than it deserves. As IGN puts this together, they say only positive things. It's obvious though, as what good does it do them to say negative things?
If IGN were to give Brawl a surprisingly lower score, wouldn't it be REALLY ironic. I hope they realize that, with all the hype they are giving this game, their score BETTER reflect their viewpoints.
