Is there a Smash Scene in Nebraska?

Hello, I live in Nebraska, and I was curious as to if there was any Smash presence here. I wish to get back into competitive Smash once Ultimate comes out, and it would be awesome if there were any local peeps to play with.

Hi, yes there is a smash scene in Nebraska, mostly located in Omaha and Lincoln, though Columbus and Norfolk have stuff sometimes.

Nebraska isn't very active on smashboards, I'm probably the only person who checks it tbh, so you're best bet is to use facebook as it is much more active over yonder.

are there tournments at/near the university(lincoln) i am going to attend there next year and i am looking to get somewhat familiar with the scene. The facebook seems to only have omaha

Right now there's only tournaments for melee in Omaha, Lincoln are a bunch of slackers. I'd recommend posting and asking why everyone from Lincoln sucks, that's the best way to make a good impression.

If you're playing smash ultimate, check the Ultimate/sm4sh page, there's like 1.5 tournaments a week in Lincoln for that.
