The "Illuminati" is very real and they're just a small piece in a much larger puzzle with involves almost all major secret societies both in this world and beyond as the end times draw nigh. At least from my perspective, I've seen ample evidence in writings from all ages which more or less confirm that the elites are involved in some form of the occult and are actively working to bring about a One World System through manipulation, social conditioning and economic strife. Most people fail to realize the amount of material written by members of the Illuminati or forget about how after they were exposed in Bavaria that its members spread all over Europe and spread their ideas through books and writings supported by European elites. They separated but their ideas never did died like all ideologies do. To deny the existence or improbability of the Illuminati begs for the individual to ignore thousands of years of a set precedent where the elite which to control all aspects of human society because they see it as their right to do so. Now, throw this dangerous mentality with a globalized system of elites from all across the world and a very clear intent to wage class warfare on the worse off and you'll get the conditions for conspiracy in a socio-economic sense.

But this goes deeper then economic, this is spiritual imo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYZksdzVxic

I recommend this well-made documentary regarding the Illuminati and other secret societies and how they actually tie into Christian End Times Prophecy and the end of the world that way. He relies on original sources and makes tons of good arguments to back his claims up. He also reveals the darkness within the elite and their occult tendencies. My entire belief (again a belief) is that demons and spirits are real and live in such a way that our current level of science is simply incapable of solving or even seeing and that by working closely with the elite of this world, they intend to fool the entire population into accepting the demons help through trickery (Probably by making these creatures out as aliens). This will bring about the end times and the return of Jesus Christ will be at hand.

I speak not only from experience but from knowledge that spirits are very real. My sister and mother are incredibly sensitive to spirits and have had strange encounters with weirdness all their lives. My sister, mother and grandmother is capable of prophetic dreams and my mom has interacted with strange balls of light, mysterious two-legged werewolves, manifested ghost and angry spirits just to name a few. They've had far too many spiritual experiences to caulk it up to 'coincidence' and even I had experience with a spirit recently as one was opening and slamming the doors in my recently deceased pops house and being an otherwise troublesome nuisance. The mechanics of this universe is unknown, what we see and hear does not create reality but rather the invisible influences on reality. Who knows how complex this existence really is?

This reminds me of the Anime Neon Genesis Evangelion SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW AND ENDING:
Throughout the story you learn about this secret society codenamed S.E.E.L.E whose logo very much resembles the stereotypical illuminati image... They are working on a project known as the Human Instrumentality Project. Anyway you slowly discover their endgame of the project is to unite all the "souls" of humanity together by breaking down the show's explanation for what keeps us apart, the A.T. field, or absolute terror field. In breaking down humanities AT field all humans will unite into one ocean of being, removing all conflict and ascending to what SEELE perceives as the next stage of humanity. There are a lot of religious type references to label the things but in the end, it’s all "science" grounded is the physics and metaphysics of the show's universe.

Really interesting show thematically since the show doesn't take this turn til late in the series, after it shows the sort of conflicts that could cause a person to want to stop clashing with another's existence.
I could go on to talk about Eva for forever but I just think it was an interesting anecdote, since archetypes of secret societies often carry many religious influences.

also wanted an excuse to post this...... Pseudo NSFW

Indeed, SEELE is a pretty accurate representation of secret societies with religious influences and goals, in fact they're a very good example of how our actual world operates in regards to secret societies like the Illuminati (The elite of the elite within free masonry) and their influence on world politics, silent and through the shadows, manipulation and coercion to extreme levels. NGE is required viewing in understanding these sects, their power being derived from information and their role in history.

From my understanding of history I understand that information is power and people who hold this information can control people and society and become the dominate driving force for civilization. These people are the elite, the kings, ministers, aristocrats, and bankers to name a few. Look at a few examples, Pizarro and the Spanish were easily able to take out the Incas through barbarism but also through trickery, but their trickery is a cultural and may be backed through examples of extensive military campaigns, their strategies and tactics. The Inca's had no historical context to draw back and assumed then their brute numbers would keep the Spanish at bay so the Incan King Atahualpa foolishly disarmed his army and presented them to the armed Spanish. Information played a huge role in this exchange, it gave the key strike to 168 Spanish who proceeded to beat the 3,000-8,000 strong yet unarmed Inca army, capturing Atahualpa and beginning the Spanish Conquest of the Incas.

Another specific example is how Nathan Rothschild used Waterloo as a means to become the owner of the Bank of England through deception and more importantly, information. His merchants and banking agents could travel through the blockades of both the British and French because his family was funding both sides during the war, So when Wellington won at Waterloo, Rothschild agents reported back to Nathan in London hours before Wellingtons messenger had reached the city, So he used this information to his advantage, he began selling all his bonds and stocks which triggered a massive sell off by all traders. They knew Rothschild could get this information early and interpreted his sell-off as meaning Napoleon had won the war. Soon British stock became worthless as fear gripped London (some say Rothschild even ordered rumors spread about Napoleon winning to spread panic.) Rothschild then ordered as much of the worthless stock bought as possible. Now, when Wellingtons messenger arrived with news that Wellington won, the stock regained its value plus more. Rothschild, at that point owned the Bank of England because he bought up the stocks. This is where their amazing wealth is derived from, a trick because information allowed them to do so. And since the Rothschild brothers were all involved in the secret sects of Freemasonry and the Illuminati, their agendas became even more prevalent with dominating the banking institutions of the worlds most powerful empire.

It baffles me that people can reject the idea that the elite aren't organized, meeting in secret to increase their power over the masses, it's a historical consistent evident in the lessons from the Third Reich and the Roman Empire that these people seek to dominate and control society. Chomsky makes a point to say that from the governments perspective, their worse enemy is the democratic masses, the true enemy is itself and everything must be done to control the tide of the masses, manipulate and control them to behave while that age old thirst for power brings the inevitable end to freedom. America is marching down that road, as the government itself becomes more powerful and has begun restricting freedom and militarizing its police force and the hardest part to fathom is the idea that another upper class of society is capable of ruthless organization and secrecy against the very cattle they rule.

Even if you don't accept the spiritual aspect of the Illuminati I mentioned above, it's hard to argue against the existence of the group itself. The bible says it best in Psalm 2:1-2 "Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed,"

It's good to see other god fearing poster on these boards!
I wasn't specific on which side was right (evolution).
Well clearly the ones attempting to expose them are clearly no real threat to the illuminati, since no one takes these "conspiracy theorists" seriously, which explains why there are no good websites exposing them out there. The moment a QUALITY site is posted the Illuminati obviously take it down.
This argument is unfalsifiable and is only used as an escape hatch when there is no argument to make.

Satire in which I make an argument akin to those conspiracy theorists would make. Not trying to sound like a jerk here, just my posts tend to fluctuate from sarcasm to actual points. If you look at the post where I made those points, all my actual points(on being able to hold an organization accountable) are the actual point, and everything above the and including the Queen music video are an attempt to lighten the mood, since I don't consider a topic like this to be super serious subject matter.

Warning Received
THIS IS NOT A DRILL

The official Illuminati has made a video forwarded to /r/MontageParodies. Here is what they have to say word for word.

"Greetings, /r/MontageParodies. We have been watching you since your inception and we must say we are impressed at your endeavor to reveal our hidden Illuminati agenda. Your most recent propaganda video from user Ronedriver has elicited this rather unusual form of communication. It appears you’ve figured out a significant portion of our plan for world domination, including our intention to strike on November the 5th. If it’s a war you want, it’s a war you’ve got. Prepare yourselves. Now, allow us to illustrate your complete and utter destruction. SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR MEMETEAM. WELCOME THE ILLUMINATI INTO YOUR LIFE. WE GOT WALLY ON OUR SIDE. SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR SUBREDDIT. AND SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR MEMES.

The internet has been breached. We are /r/MontageParodies and we need your help. The Illuminati have finally declared war on humankind. [X-Files theme plays quietly in the background] We have until November 5th to stop the extermination of the no-scopers and weed smokers.

  • November the 5th. 11/5. Add 5+11 and you get 16. 16. 16 AD. Scribonia, second wife of Caesar Augustus died, killed by the Illuminati.
  • Caesar Augustus, founder of the Roman Empire, ruling from 27 BC until his death in 14 AD. 14 AD. 14. 1 and 4. (Triangle within the number 4.)
  • 1+4=5. 5? 5th of November. November has 8 letters. 8. Final Fantasy 8 (VIII), (Triangle within the letter V.) released for the Sony Playstation in 1999. (The Playstation controller has a triangle button.)
  • 1999. January 1st―The euro is established. The Illuminati controls Europe currency.
  • 1999. October. NASA loses one of its probes, the Mars Climate Orbiter. The Illuminati destroyed it to stop NASA from finding the lizard base on Mars. 1999. November. NASA Agency executive Charles Bolden joins the Illuminati. Their Mars base is now safe.
As you can see, in 1999 the Illuminati have slowly been wearing down human defenses.

  • 2000. October 31―Singapore Airlines Flight 006 collides with construction equipment in the Chiang Kai Shek International Airport, resulting in 83 deaths.
  • 2001. September 11. (The airplane wings are triangles.)
  • 2004, December 26―Tsunami. One of the worst natural disasters in recorded history hits Southeast Asia. The official death toll in the affected countries stands at 186,983. The Illuminati earthquake machine was deployed on this day.
  • 2007. January 12―Comet (McNaught), the brightest comet in more than 40 years. This marks the day the Illuminati alien mothership reached Earth, it’s main troops descended from the ship, undetected by most humans.
  • 2007. August 4―The Phoenix spacecraft is launched toward the Martian north pole, to rendezvous with the Illuminati central command.
  • 2003. May 3―Over 133,000 people are killed by Cyclone Nargis, the worst ‘natural’ disaster since the tsunami in 2004. This marks the day the Illuminati Weather Control device is activated.
Currently, the Illuminati own our currency, control our weather and control the seismic activity of our planet. On November 5th, they will deploy the earthquakes, and create hurricanes to wipe out 95% of the human population. /r/MontageParodies is sticking together to keep this from happening. Keep making montage parodies to spread the word. We must warn all the people and find Illuminati signs wherever we parody. When we see some nice memes we must let the public know.

Illuminati confirmed in Call of Duty IV? Get that **** on YouTube, let people know! No-scoped by a spooky skeleton in CoD: Blacks Ops II? Upload that to the internet m9. Does your Mountain Dew taste funny? Film it bro, show us the flavor. Has your mom forgotten to get the camera? Damn son, inform the people! Has your Nan gotten shrekt again? No-scope that laggy *****. Do you have evidence of Illuminati ****ing her right in the *****? Submit that to Reddit. Mysterious fog horns and it’s not foggy? Record that audio, bro. Fedoras being tipped to people who aren’t m’lady? Catch it on video. Seen some funky Illuminati in your brand new dedicated RAM? Add some dubstep and Sample Text, spread the word and share that **** on Facebook!

Doing this will increase the awareness of the Illuminati, growing our resistance force. The more parodies we have the more power we will have against them.

We already have some strong warriors on our force. Snoop, Gaben, Darude, PoopSteve420, Will Smith, Captain Price, Chewbaca and Shrek. These scrublords are known to be as the MLG MEMETEAM. Biggy and Tupac send their 420 support from the Doritos haven by smoking weed everyday.

Doritos fight by our side. They are creating triangles to overpower the Illuminati’s powerful Eye of Providence.

We have strong evidence to suggest that PewDiePie is an Illuminati leader, as well as Barack Obama. They are gathering their strength ready for the 5th of November attack. Details are sketchy but here is their plan:

  1. Their army of thousands will disguise themselves as Minecraft Let’s Players and simultaneously upload ****ty Let’s Play videos to YouTube on November 5th.
  2. The high-pitched garbage that comes from these Let’s Players will trigger the earthquake and hurricane machines to spool up.
  3. At this point it will be too late. We will be doomed.
Our only hope will be to grow our army big enough and band together. We must thumb down these videos and report them for copyright violation. This will delay the machines from starting.

In the confusion that follows: Snoop, Gaben and Shrek can initiate an attack at the Illuminati HQ in Mordor. When the attack is happening, we can distract the Illuminati warriors by playing Dap Lude - Sand Strom. Dawude - Sam Strom. Dam Jews - Ham Porn. Darude - Sandstorm. REALLY ****ING LOUDLY.

Meanwhile, we must all turn our computer screens to the north and shine a strobing light of random colors in the Illuminati’s general direction. The lights and sounds that we create will confuse the Illuminati army enough so that Snoop and Shrek can clear the way for Gaben, our lord and savior. When Gaben climbs to the top of PewDiePie’s evil tower, he will unleash the power of the Doge shiba. As an army we must then light up our finest Afghan Kush. We will have to smoke weed every day for a whole week to keep Snoop fighting strong, the hemp powers will also give Doge the strength it needs to fight off Pewd’s dank memes.

After a week the long battle subsides, and the smokes settles. Hopefully, just maybe. Shrek will have taken down the PewDiePie army, Snoop will have defeated Barack, and Gaben and his Doge will have destroyed PewDiePie. But even then we are not safe. The rest of the Pewd clan need to be defeated, that task is down to us. Remember to bring your finest army when you to the final battle. I recommend Adamant or Rune, Dragon if you can afford it. I will be on site trimming armor for free. Bring your best Mountain Dew, your most powerful Doritos, and try to get into a clan. Teamwork will increase your chances of success. Try and join Faze or Optics. Supplies will be crucial during the week long fight so we will deploy an army of Sanic the Hedghegs to gotta go fast an deliver Dew, weed and Doritos to all of you MLG fighters. Captain Price has secured a shipment of sniper rifles without optical scopes. These will be given to our best no-scopers to pick the Pewd army off of the map.

We can win this fight if we work together.

We must stand up against the Illuminati.

November 5th. #360NoScopeIlluminati

The concep of the illuminati is in theory similar to the same thing as the boyscouts, or the masonic lodge or any other type of fraternity. presently people take it upon themselves to attempt to control you by fear, in assuming that they are all interconnected. its rather silly how much emphasis is placed on any group of individuals

The Illuminati is fake. There's no blood-sucking reptilians that control all major positions or satanic Zionists running the world. Conspiracy Theories mostly contradict themselves and considering just the amount of ridiculous Illuminati stuff there is it is pretty obvious that there is no right one. NSA is not the Illuminati, and idiots like Jeff Boss take advantage of these conspiracies just to attempt to run and gain followers. There is no such thing as a group that controls most of the world's wealth. Only a group of people that just so happen to share the same characteristic that makes conspiracy theorists connect the dots just because of one out of the many things that just so happen to match up. Making Documentaries about Illuminati isn't that hard. Just find one thing two people share and repeat and then voila you have a conspiracy.

I could care less about your Fedora culture and your position.

Your logic is obviously blatant attacks. If Opinion Contradicts Your Visioned Reality Of What Is True then it is Wrong. A serious debate could come later when you don't have solid barricades everywhere in your brain.

I wouldn't deny the existence of such a thing... I mean, if they supposedly work behind the scenes and do not want to be exposed, then obviously they are doing a good job. If it makes two sides; believers vs. non-believers fight, then a debate that will never end is neigh. Non-believers can easily argue about where the credible proof is while the believers can always argue with how the government is always keeping things from the people. Either side can keep getting mileage, but they won't get nowhere. All we can do is wait and see what happens. Oh, New World Order never happened? Carry on with life, do whatever you were doing. Oh, Illuminati executed the New World Order? Stand up and fight for freedom.

Historically speaking, there was (and possibly still is) and organization known as the Illuminati. It was founded in May of 1776 by a guy named Adam Weishaupt. Like the Freemasons and other groups, these do exist, but no serious evidence has been unearthed to support the assertions that they're secretly controlling world history, or politics, or any similar thing. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and I've yet to see any evidence to these claims beyond circumstantial.

That said, conspiracy theories make a kick-ass game. Ever play Deus Ex? It's one of the only FPS I've actually enjoyed. The graphics are really dated, though, so you'll want to look up the New Vision texture mod. You can get it on Gog (DRM-free!) and Steam.

The problem with this is that it excuses the burden of proof. It's perfectly illustrative of the pitfalls of conspiracy thinking. The main trick: shield the conspiracy from investigation. After all, if you make it so that nothing could possibly prove you wrong, that must mean you're right, right? Saying "they're hiding the evidence" does not give you carte blanche to assert whatever you want. It's this exact kind of thinking that leads people to reject any legitimate sources and believe all sorts of dangerous bull****. Things like that vaccines cause autism - the CDC is covering it up, so they can't be trusted, and big pharma owns the entire peer review system, so they can't be trusted. Seriously.

This post is exactly summarising my thoughts! But I didn't know about the Spannish-Inca wars as much, so glad you pointed this out to me!

If we don't believe right now that this economical crisis was all a set-up plan to establish the dollar more and creating a bigger division between the rich and poor, I believe you are part of the problem. America clearly has imperialistic goals, and all who try to deny this in these times is just extremely fooled. The Federal Reserve controls all nation's banks, bar two currently (North Korea and Cuba, not the best of mates of the US as we know). The recent transsion of the FDA banksystem in Ukraine for example is the reason of the current uprising there. As the country not only sold out it's bank system somehow, but also it's fields to GMO farmacies as Monsanto (which I prefer to call MonSATAN). Now, the CIA in intervering there.

It's clear that it's mostly America that wants to downpress the whole world with their banking system. And the elite aren't even denying it.

I will edit this post later.

If we don't believe right now that this economical crisis was all a set-up plan to establish the dollar more and creating a bigger division between the rich and poor, I believe you are part of the problem.
You just made a huge claim with very little to back it up, and somehow people who don't agree with these fringe beliefs are part of the problem? Please, care to make a coherent case?

America clearly has imperialistic goals, and all who try to deny this in these times is just extremely fooled.
What, you mean the government that underwent a massive regime change no less than 3 times in the past decade and a half? (Republican takeover in 2000, democrat takeover in 2006, republican resurgence in 2010, for those not counting.) We don't even have a consistent foreign policy; you think there are some sinister imperialistic goals here?

The Federal Reserve controls all nation's banks, bar two currently (North Korea and Cuba, not the best of mates of the US as we know).
Citation needed.

The recent transsion of the FDA banksystem in Ukraine for example is the reason of the current uprising there.
You do realize that throwing around buzzwords like this means that nobody who isn't up-to-date on the subject will know what you're talking about, right? And I'm having trouble finding anything about this on google. Please realize that not everyone is so far down the rabbit hole, and we don't all know everything that you're talking about inside and out.

As the country not only sold out it's bank system somehow, but also it's fields to GMO farmacies as Monsanto (which I prefer to call MonSATAN). Now, the CIA in intervering there
You know, I was going to invite you to offer why you consider Monsanto so harmful in my thread, quite literally titled "What's wrong with Monsanto, Exactly?", but given the tone of this post, I'm not sure you have much to contribute there.

It's clear that it's mostly America that wants to downpress the whole world with their banking system. And the elite aren't even denying it.

That's one amazing leap of logic right there. "Rockerfeller admits that he's trying to build a more integrated global political and economic structure! NWO! NWO!" It's one thing to read between the lines, it's another for the guy to outright be mocking opinions like yours, and to claim that he's confirming it.

There is so much wrong here I don't even know where to start.

First of all, where the hell have you been since 1945? The United States has been overthrowing foreign governments and installing dictators in their place for decades as shown here: http://williamblum.org/images/uploads/interventions_map.png Are you telling me the U.S had no sinister imperialistic goals in overthrowing, murdering and otherwise destabilizing these countries leading to their citizens being murdered by the thousands, possibly millions? How can you honestly believe the U.S government and its lies anymore after they lied about their involvement in these events during the time of their respective happenings?

Vietnam itself shows that the government was interested in dominating the affairs of that nation for geopolitical gain and abusing it for it's resources for American Corporations. This was proven to be the case in the leaked pentagon papers and everyone in society during the 60s knew how sinister that war was. Now, your telling me the there is no possible way that the actions the U.S has taken since 9/11 has been purely good and not motivated by self-interest in any way, shape or form? Because if you think yes then here is proof that the USA is still up to its old imperial ambitions of domination. http://ftmdaily.com/preparing-for-the-collapse-of-the-petrodollar-system/

Or how about Iraq II? This gem right here shows that these guys in charge really know the extent of their action, and like all rulers over the masses, they don't give a **** as long as it completes their political objectives https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BEsZMvrq-I

How can you tell me that the U.S has no sinister foreign policy when ol' Richard here describes perfectly the problems the USA would run into after the occupation of Iraq? How could they not have known and why did they go ahead and do it anyways? Because they wanted to free the Iraqi people from a tyrant?

Bulls***.

I also should mention that the USA is to blame for the Ukraine Crisis as proven here where the State Department is heard talking about putting Viktor Yanukovych into power right after the coup, hell they even say "They're in play" which means that the Ukraine is now up for grabs in the Zero-Sum game of Geopolitics. This is on top of evidence of the U.S using international NGO's like the Endowment for Democracy to fund revolutions in said countries, which EfD has admit they've been involved in the Ukraine for quite some time here: http://www.ned.org/where-we-work/central-and-eastern-europe

Now, this naked aggression has set Russia in motion and we're apperently headed for some kind of conflict with Russia and its allies, how is provoking a nuclear power into war not sinister?

History is literally against you on this one.

Second, There was no 'massive regime change' in the last few elections, the Obama presidency has expanded upon the Bush doctrine (https://www.lewrockwell.com/lrc-blog/obama-continues-the-bush-doctrine/) since coming to office every though Obama ran on denouncing the Bush doctrine as we remember from campaign 2008. Yeah, they play a good show on television to make people believe that they have differences in governing but they really, really don't. Here are two examples of why they aren't THAT different at all:

http://rare.us/story/7-ways-republicans-and-democrats-are-exactly-the-same/

http://ivn.us/2012/11/06/100-ways-republicans-are-just-like-democrats/

Where is really matters, they're no different at all, they're both working towards the same goals and they're funded by the same interests, like why the hell is Goldman Sachs is putting money in both parties election war chest? Isn't the point of supporting a political party is because you agree with their ideas on governing? I think

http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/summary.php?id=d000000085

the answer is pretty clear, you guys are operating on the political version of the cola-wars and you got a choice between Pepsocrat or Copublican brand names. Toss in a bunch of joke candidates that most people don't take seriously and create a media political circus that is so ridiculous it actually makes democracy look like a joke. It's rigged dude, operated by money and built on a complex mix of manipulation and lies.

Rockerfeller is an internationalist true and true however, it's obvious he's going to lie about his true designs for the system he is helping to craft. A more accurate quote to better show the true interest of these internationalist is the famous quote from James Warburg on February 17, 1950, appearing before the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations "

"The past 15 years of my life have been devoted almost exclusively to studying the problem of world peace and, especially, the relation of the United States to these problems. These studies led me, 10 years ago, to the conclusion that the great question of our time is not whether or not one world can be achieved, but whether or not one world can be achieved by peaceful means.

We shall have world government, whether or not we like it. The question is only whether world government will be achieved by consent or by conquest."

This quote is more or less telling us that we as a people, will have world government no matter how we feel about it and it'll happen either by war or election. A lot of these guys have been friends and business partners for a long time and now the descendants of these guys all advocate for a world government, we're talking about the people who created the Federal Reserve.

I skimmed this post.

The title of this documentary is "NWO: Secret Societies and Biblical Prophecy Vol. 1"

Give me one good reason why I should take literally anything else you posted seriously? Yeah, you're at least half right about the second Iraq war. But you clearly are awful at source analysis. I might get back to this when I'm not drunk, but after seeing that documentary I feel absolutely justified in dismissing just about every other source you posted. The **** is Xat.org? And why should I care what they have to say about history when it sounds like the same kind of pseudo-conspiracy bull**** Zeitgeist was peddling and cite ****-all for sources?

>this documentary explains the conspiracy in very logical way
>the title of this documentary is "NWO: Secret Societies and Biblical Prophecy Vol. 1"

Pick one, please.

Snark aside, I will get back to this when I'm capable of rational thought again. It's just... God. That title. What the hell, man.

EDIT: oh christ it starts with Carlin in a pathetic attempt to excuse its conspiracy theorizing right off the bat. Amazing. Try this video instead.

It's clear that your drunk because you are a moron, you're dismissing a well-made documentary with tons of great primary sources gathered by an individual who worked very hard and spent a considerable amount of his own money and time into making the film because he believes in the research. But you rather just judge a book by its cover and ****post like a tool, you aren't on 4chan right now. Why don't you watch the film and give me your conclusions after seeing the film from a clearer perspective.

To be fair it is titled "NWO: Secret Societies and Biblical Prophecy Vol. 1".

I mean, come on. We've seen documentaries that didn't scream "MY DIRECTOR BELONGS IN A LOONEY BIN" from the rooftops just in the title that were ridiculously dishonest. Zeitgeist. Loose Change. The Great Global Warming Swindle. 2016: Obama's America. Burzynski. The Greater Good. Need I continue? I'm not going to watch your ****ty documentary. I'm sorry. I learned my ****ing lesson back when one of my friends convinced me to watch "Explosive Evidence". No, all your documentary does is call every single other source you cite into question. I don't even have to watch that documentary to say, with confidence, that the only thing anyone will get out of that is dumber.

Seriously.
I wasn't shielding conspiracy from investigation... I don't support conspiracy. I think they do exist actually, but perhaps these conspiracies muddy up their image, either for the worst or for the best.

There is so much wrong here I don't even know where to start.

First of all, where the hell have you been since 1945? The United States has been overthrowing foreign governments and installing dictators in their place for decades as shown here: http://williamblum.org/images/uploads/interventions_map.png
Do you have a source that isn't an infographic sourced to a book? Because I don't have access to Blum's book. But let's just assume this is accurate for the moment.

Are you telling me the U.S had no sinister imperialistic goals in overthrowing, murdering and otherwise destabilizing these countries leading to their citizens being murdered by the thousands, possibly millions?
Is there any meaningful distinction to be drawn between "protecting American interests", "stemming the spread of communism", and "imperialism"? I'm not sure what you mean be imperialistic goals, to be honest. Care to define the term?

How can you honestly believe the U.S government and its lies anymore after they lied about their involvement in these events during the time of their respective happenings?
The "U.S. Government" is not some huge, monolithic, unchanging force. The NSA is demonstrably untrustworthy and suspect; the CDC is not. The Nixon administration did some absolutely reprehensible things; the Clinton administration was considerably less horrible in that regards (not scot-free, but better). Et cetera. And of course, I don't just give government claims free hand. I check them.

Vietnam itself shows that the government was interested in dominating the affairs of that nation for geopolitical gain and abusing it for it's resources for American Corporations. This was proven to be the case in the leaked pentagon papers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagon_Papers

Can't find anything about abusing it for its resources for American Corporations. Yeah, the war was sold to us under false pretenses, and the geopolitical goals at the time were largely to stem the tide of communism. The problem is, given the geopolitical situation, should we have acted differently? I don't know. I think the issue of soviet influence spreading throughout the world was kind of a big problem, given how it lead to a significant decrease in freedom, quality of life, and say in your own government. The whole cold war was a quagmire of covert ops, trying to stem the soviet tide without overtly declaring war, and I'm not sure that I'm willing to say that the actions in the lead-up to the Vietnam war were explicitly wrong.

Shady? Sure, but how do you think China (a state that had just gone nuclear, I might add) would react if they found out that we were trying to box them in? How do you think the Pentagon thought they would react? There's a reason so much of the cold war was covert ops - because we wanted to do everything we could to limit the USSR's sphere of influence without declaring war on them.

Now, your telling me the there is no possible way that the actions the U.S has taken since 9/11 has been purely good and not motivated by self-interest in any way, shape or form?
Did I say that? The Vietnam war (while not post-9/11) was obviously motivated by self-interest; it's just that it's hard to condemn it when we're talking about not allowing the eastern bloc's sphere of influence to expand. The Iraq war was obviously motivated by self-interest, and considerably easier to condemn. The Afghanistan war was just a complete and total cluster****, and I couldn't tell you what interests were at play there, other than stupid and short-sighted revenge. I think the NSA is an over-the-top spying apparatus that has no place in a free and open society. I think that the poor documentation, oversight, and controls on drone strikes set a very dangerous precedent, despite their usefulness, and I think that no amount of terrorist-killing is worth, on a purely war-schematic-level, the way drones terrify the populace in the middle east, inciting resentment and hatred towards the west.

The world is not so black and white
.

I don't think the actions the US has taken since 9/11 are purely good. I don't think the actions any government has taken in virtually any period of time have been purely good.

Because if you think yes then here is proof that the USA is still up to its old imperial ambitions of domination. http://ftmdaily.com/preparing-for-the-collapse-of-the-petrodollar-system/
This delves into a lot of the same woefully misguided territory that Zeitgeist does. It tries to prime us for conspiracy theories, asking us to "read between the lines" "ignore the mainstream proclamations" blah blah blah. It strings up the same questionable conspiracy line as ever, and makes astonishingly far-reaching assertions with little to back them up. So wait, Syria, Iran, Venezuela, and North Korea are the "axis of evil" because they're turning away from the petrodollar system, but China, India, and Russia are using their own currency for oil (the same damn thing) and somehow are not? I wasn't even aware we were demonizing Venezuela.

It goes on and on trying to connect a disparate string of dots, none of which are well-cited within the document. It claims that the federal reserve is, and I quote, "a private central banking cartel", and I'm just out. If you're willing to misrepresent the Fed like that, then I don't see any point in following your reasoning, because this idea that the Fed is not a government institution is at the basis of countless stupid conspiracy theories.

Or how about Iraq II? This gem right here shows that these guys in charge really know the extent of their action, and like all rulers over the masses, they don't give a **** as long as it completes their political objectives https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BEsZMvrq-I
Question - is Cheney still in power? Rumsfeld? Bush?

...Yeah, didn't think so. The 2003 Iraq War will go down in history as a massive black mark on the US's record - and I mean that relative to other black marks, like Vietnam. A war that clearly has the sole goal of enriching the cronies of a handful of political operatives.

But can we extrapolate from that to the US foreign policy at all times? No, I don't think so. I think even the very next administration had fairly significant differences.

I'm fairly sure you forgot to insert a hyperlink here.

This is on top of evidence of the U.S using international NGO's like the Endowment for Democracy to fund revolutions in said countries, which EfD has admit they've been involved in the Ukraine for quite some time here: http://www.ned.org/where-we-work/central-and-eastern-europe
On top of evidence which, once again, you neglected to provide.

Let's see here... Obama ended the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. There were minor scuffles in various countries, but you cannot compare the program of targeted drone strikes to full-on war, any more than you can compare the 9/11 bombings to Afghanistan declaring war on the US. It's just not the same thing.

This sort of cynical posturing ignores significant differences in how republicans and democrats run government. Things like how they deal with political appointees. How they handle war. International diplomacy (if you seriously want to tell me that that hasn't changed, then you're out of your mind). And I realize this isn't exactly the topic here, but civil rights, minority issues, science (particularly global warming and evolution)... Yeah, you'll find a lot of similarities, because we're in a FPTP system and we know what we want. Both parties (and the voting system ensures that there can only be two) have to stretch towards that middle to get the support they need. So you'll end up with fairly similar parties.

Toss in a bunch of joke candidates that most people don't take seriously and create a media political circus that is so ridiculous it actually makes democracy look like a joke. It's rigged dude, operated by money and built on a complex mix of manipulation and lies.
And I think a lot of people mistake world-weary cynicism for wisdom and ignore that it happens to quite often be wrong. Here's another issue where democrats and republicans differ greatly: regulation of the financial sector. Remember Dodd-Frank? If I recall correctly, it passed along party lines.

Give me one reason I should take anything this source says seriously. It offers next to no citations that can be easily checked, I have no idea who wrote it, and it seems like an extremely bizarre pseudo-religious screed.

The very next line provides some very useful context.

http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/James...tee_on_Revision_of_the_United_Nations_Charter

This is speaking very clearly in terms of the start of the cold war - a divided world in the heels of the most prolific genocide to date, where a one-world-government solution is infinitely preferable to the threat of nuclear annihilation that would proceed to hang over everyone's head for the next several decades, and I'm having trouble finding the problem with his statements. He's not saying "we'll force you into a one world government". He's saying "there will be a one world government, either by cooperation or in the aftermath of brutal nuclear war". It's not a threat, it's a warning. And you know what? He was wrong, and that's a good thing. But I don't think his statements are particularly malicious.

A lot of these guys have been friends and business partners for a long time and now the descendants of these guys all advocate for a world government, we're talking about the people who created the Federal Reserve.
Oh? You mean wealthy, powerful people with shared interests might actually find each other and intermingle? Perish the thought. And by the way, now might be a good time to point out just how much of an improvement the federal reserve was over what came before it.

I implore you watch this documentary, I feel it explains the conspiracy in very logical way that includes primary sources as evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYZksdzVxic
I'd offer to watch this until the first blatant lie, but it's blocked in Germany and ProxTube is slow. So I'm just going to refer to what I said earlier: there are enough documentaries that seem reputable that are dishonest and dangerous; I see no reason to pay attention to one which screams its insanity to the heavens right in the title.

Problem with sources nowadays is that any main stream, so called "credible" media is 100% owned by the Illiminati / bankers / Zionists / Rothschild and friends. So finding any source that clearly uninformed people as yourself find credible is hard, because in general, people who look for the truth are looking for independant news media sites.

Also it seems that you are not even willing to debate this without even considering that anyone who doesn't agree with your sentiments is right. Then let's do this the other way. Why don't you defend American capitalism, the war in the east, increasing world poverty, Israel, and the New World Order? And let's see how you do.

And the excuses start. "I can't provide a decent source, they're all part of the conspiracy!" And in exchange, we're supposed to trust random people with internet blogs. Yeah, I'm sorry, that's not happening. And it's not like I'm rejecting sources out of hand, either, at least most of them.

So finding any source that clearly uninformed people as yourself find credible is hard, because in general, people who look for the truth are looking for independant news media sites.
Then let's see those then. You'll notice of the sources presented, I dismissed only two out of hand - one was a 2-hour documentary I couldn't watch in my country of which even the title screamed "crazy", and the other was a basic HTML page with no sources. And you're one to talk about "clearly uninformed people"; you cited Health Impact News as a source in the Weed thread, and they flat-out lie about countless medical subjects. They're about as trustworthy as Answers in Genesis.

Also it seems that you are not even willing to debate this without even considering that anyone who doesn't agree with your sentiments is right.
Wrong. I'm entirely willing to consider that I might be wrong. The problem is that I've been down this path before, and I can see certain warning signs. When someone appeals to biblical prophecy, it's a sure sign that I'm dealing with a nutter. When someone makes the false claim that the fed is a privately owned institution, I can usually take a pretty solid guess at where the conversation is going. And I can see the threads that articles like that try to set up, and the emotional strings they try to pull, and it immediately turns me off, because it's exactly the kind of reasoning one can use to establish any bizarre leap of reasoning. And I'm not going to make those leaps. I'm not going to point to disparate events and assume that there's some shadowy cabal ruling the world. I need stronger evidence than that.

Then let's do this the other way. Why don't you defend American capitalism, the war in the east, increasing world poverty, Israel, and the New World Order? And let's see how you do.
You do realize I have no intention of defending most of those, right? American capitalism is fundamentally broken and allows for serious abuse as it currently stands; we really need to adopt more things from the German model. The "war on terror" is a farce that needs to end sooner rather than later. Increasing world poverty is bad; care to tell me what that has to do with anything? Israel is a complex mess of a situation, and Bibi is definitely not fixing it. We pretty much need a two-state solution, but good luck getting anyone to agree on anything, particularly when everyone else on the region would prefer a 0-state solution, as in Israel burned to the ground. The "New World Order" is an inane conspiracy theory, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to defend there.

So if you're done strawmanning me, perhaps you'd like to have a debate? You know, present your position clearly and coherently and back it up with trustworthy sources? If not, that's fine with me.

Skimming through these comments, I've come to the realization that there's really no way to prove the Illuminati's existence. Any sources to prove it comes from dubious sources, and anything that disproves it is seen as a conspiracy, so this is clearly is a debate that no one can win.

This entire time, the X-Files theme song just kept playing in my head as I read this entire thread. I never once believed in the fact they exist as this NWO BS people keep spouting on about.I do know they existed back in the 18th Century but fell to obscurity.

As I've said elsewhere, I have a problem with this attitude. When you claim something exists, and none of your sources are reliable or can make cogent arguments, then you've clearly lost the debate. Making the claim that "I can't provide a source because it's being suppressed" is no excuse. It's its own claim that needs considerable justification, justification I have no idea how you're going to provide.

This is why I haven't really tried debating here, because anything I would try to show to disprove their existence would be seen as some Illuminati conspiracy anyway, so I'm more akin to Michael Jackson with popcorn, lurking and watching the debate and the comments within, seeing if someone lights a match in a room of tinder boxes, if you get what I mean.

With the advancement of technology, It's not hard to believe that you're always being watched.

Eyes and triangles confirm the Illuminati? That means Illuminati is everywhere.
