Then I have the solution for you!
Young Link's taunt is probably the longest in the game (next to Mario's). That makes it difficult to gloat on your awesome victory with a bottle of Lon Lon Milk. Thankfully, YL has a great taunt cancel that can get you back into the fray quickly! It's simple and easy to do!
1. Before taunting, throw your boomerang. Preferably straight, so it has less chance of missing you on its way back.
2. Pull out a nice, refreshing bottle of the good stuff
3. When YL catches his boomerang, it will cancel the taunt.
4. PROFIT!
Now you can taunt in relative safety, without worrying about a quick respawn getting the better of you!
NOTE: this may work with Toon Link in PM, but I haven't tried it yet. Since that heals him, it might be even more useful.
