The chances are dependent on Rare and Microsoft. Were it not for that factor, I'd say basically guaranteed.

Their chances are 50/50 just like every other character being speculated at the moment. Honestly, the whole setback of Microsoft owning them isn't that much of hurdle anymore seeing how Microsoft and Nintendo have a much better relationship nowadays. Contrary to Konami, whom Nintendo had a more distant relationship with not too long ago yet we are getting 3 reps from them now! So anything is possible. Sakurai has proven once again that he likes to overcome his challenges at some point and it would be cool to see him overcome the challenge he had of adding the duo back in the Melee days due to copyright.
