Invalid Read Error

When trying to test out music files that I added into my PM files, I get an error saying "Invalid Read...PC=..." I am playing PM through homebrew on Dolphin's virtual SD card. My SD is 2gb and can play normally except I get those Invalid read errors when trying to add custom music. Is there a file that I'm missing or a setting I have to turn on/off/? Ive been searching and cannot find a fix. I've seen something about changing the hooktype to 1 ( from 7) but that doesn't help.
