In response to "Prophet" thread - a novel idea

What if Sakurai read the rumor and said "Hey that would be a sweet idea"? He's always wanted an excuse to give Kirby's Air Ride more stuff, and after reading the rumor he may have thought "Hey maybe I should put the Dragoon in. That's a great idea." and then went and made it. Also, Sakurai would love the idea of confusing his fans even more.

What do you think? This is just an idea.

Hmm, for a lot of things such as character's I think that's a possibility, but we have to remember language barriers for Sakurai and the specific details on the dragoon statement, I say statement because it's impossible for that to be a "prediction". More likely is that he's telling the truth and it is in fact just some facts he's picked up/researched whichever and relayed for us, and he's suffering the consequences. If Sakurai HAD adopted the idea from someone, it wouldn't be adopted in such perfect detail.

The math is that the possibility that such an EXACT "prediction" was made correctly is close enough to impossible it should be excluded from our minds. It's infinitely more likely ChaosZero was able to obtain information on Brawl.

WHAT'S MORE LIKELY, that he magically predicted something so perfect, that Sakurai copied it off of gameFAQS so perfectly, or that at least ONE person in the ENTIRE world with access to Brawl info leaked some?

Not enough time. The game must be already finished. They do need to actually have all the copies ready, and shipped out to all the stores in Japan ready for the release on the 24th. They're probably going to begin printing the copies off very soon. The final master copy of the game will have already been submitted. The last stuff to have been added would have been added no longer than a fortnight ago.

I find it interesting that the "Prophet" gave one, very specific, very detailed description about an item, and then gave vague one liners about character inclusions.

He's not a prophet, he never claimed to be, stupid people on gameFAQS and Smashboards keep calling him a prophet.

Guys, no offense, but don't be so stupid. He did not put this in after readin g what the "prophet" said. These items, characters, etc. are completed or at least mostly complete days, weeks, possibly months in advance of their posting on the Dojo. And since Brawl has gone Gold, and the game's complete, that's impossible.

Guys, Sakurai cannot speak fluent english or understand it fluently (or at least to the extent of my knowledge). He has a translator for the DOJO! and for press conferences. I've seen the name of the translator in a very interesting article I read the other day (it was like 'Rick' or something), but I can't recall it at the moment. But my point is, he couldn't have read the rumor as he does not fluently understand english.
